I'm not sure what day I'm on, but I'm not paying any attention to what's going on. And yes, the hedgehog IS currently in space doing God-knows-how-many-millions-of-miles-per-hour. I just got back from playing basketball, so I think I'm gonna enjoy a game of Upgrade Complete 2 while I wait.

After playing freeplay mode and getting everything I decided to launch my hedgehog and rocket all the way to the left until I ran out of feul. After setting down my laptop for 2 hours he is still going. Wow..

To everyone complaining about how hard the badge is; go play the first one, then come back here. The fact that they added a restart button, makes things 100 million times easier. The first one you had to refresh the entire page and wait for it to load again every single time. I got it in about 8 tries. The fact that I can just hit restart now...it makes it cake and the badge just becomes about patience, skill and a lot of luck.

well i finished it on the 2nd day, and i gotta say, you are gonna need radar lvl 2, and dont bother with slingshot upgrades. i only upgraded my left and right rocket to 2. then i spent about 3,000 on fuel. I got 5000 on the first day, so my advice is the obviosus. DO NOT go way out of your way for a platform you might miss!! you get more money just staying in the air and hitting whatever platform you happen to see.

I don't get these types of Hard badges... You basically have to start over and over until you get lucky enough. That's neither fun nor skillful... it's pretty pointless.

My first run of this I thought I would never even reach the moon let alone Mars. Somehow I got to 100,000 feet with a 22 minute run without reaching the moon. Still, the next day I had enough money to upgrade EVERYTHING to max level... with $17 million left over :)

I finally worked out the system here!
Launch as normal, then use your boosters to attain max speed in either direction. Then just sit back and watch. Grab a beer. I just earned 23,832,774.80 (took 34:47, multiplier for that x208.7 plus height) I forced him to crash land just because I got bored of waiting.
You need good thrusters for it though.

aha! The aeronautical hedgehog master I truly am! I made it on the second day, on my second try! Now allow me to enjoy a brief moment basking in a small feeling of accomplishment before the realization sets in that it's really a pointless feat in the grand scheme of things and that, unlike most feats, I'll never be able to go into a bar and say "Hey sweet cheeks. Wanna hear about the one time I shot a hedgehog to mars?...For real? No, not for real, it was in an online game. Impressive, I know. Hey, where are you going?"
