Wow, just wow, 3'd day, i can see the red glow from mars, i poked my head in the atmosphere.. decided i didn't like it there and went back to earth.. fml no achiev :(

What is the point of Gravity Kill if you can only use it in story mode? Story mode resets when you get to Mars, so there's no reason to have infinite distance.

I had all the upgrades except the gravity thing...after that, I launched. Went to Wal-Mart. Came back. It was still going.

first time in roughly 2 years (free play) 6600 first day
2nd day: got 50,000 feet , got bored, boosted sideways and waited until i landed
final score for day 2: 16,305,742.66

even if i may sound really stupid, but how the hell are you supposed to launch the hedgehog? i have yet to make it fly upwards. if i pull "down", the moment i release the mouse button the bands just disappear and it falls downwards, if i pull "up" it just bounces me downwards. every single time i tried to launch i've had my hedgehog fly all the way downwards and bounce back up from the underground platform, what am i doing wrong?

Platforms are more luckly to be found in equal horizontal intevals.

WARNING!!! Anyone going for the badges, be sure to play STORY MODE, and not free play. I made the mistake of playing free play and spend 17 minutes going 100,000ft looking for mars in never ending space on day three. Save yourself the time and sanity and + so others can learn from my failure...

Snapshot103's advice for the hard badge is good with one exception. You really don't need to make it to the moon the second day. Getting a good first day is hard enough, there's no reason to restart without trying. You just need a decent haul. The important thing is that you get the level 3 radar and the fuel sucker. Put most of the rest of your cash into fuel tank (don't worry about e-rocket) and put a little into L & R rockets. With that stuff you can bounce your way all the way to mars w/o even using an e-rocket.
