I just thought I should let you know, since no one seems to get it, that the immediate trophy room is a joke!
Just avoid the spikes and go through the door WHEN IT APPEARS. All you have to do is wait.

hey gingerking, instead of rushing to the door, when u reach the room before the trophy, go all the way to the left(opposite side of door)
