Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. For those curious about how to play Sonny post-Flash with the SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the ‘GameShell’ issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0000/9053/live/SunnyPatch3Kong.swf?kongregate_game_version=1208216809 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here. As a tip for this game, pick your class carefully that leans into your gameplay style well and don't be afraid to grind at the training area (starting the second zone and onwards) to build up Sonny as the main 'missions' beyond the first zone scale upwards in difficulty quickly and will most likely require some grinding without some serious use of tactics and skills!

Sonny goes from being a undead ship worker, to being a samurai, to being a shaman, to being a high-tech warrior. He has certainly lived a full life. :/
