JJ2plus2, fella, just look at the text at the end of the game: "Maybe next time you're playing a game you'll rate it more on how much fun you're having and less on how complex the upgrade system is". That is basically saying that the game is NOT supposed to be fun, because, apparently, the author thinks a complex upgrade system spoils the fun, or worse, that fun and an upgrade system are mutually exclusive. It's meant to teach the player A Lesson, and worse, it sounds like the author is UPSET that his games got bad ratings -- and he thinks that the players are morons who don't know what fun is and dislike his games because they lack achievements and upgrades. The big conclusion is that the game FAILED to be unfun, the upgrade system FAILED to be annoying, and the author FAILED to deliver his point. That's why I give it 5 stars: the author needs to learn A Lesson, and that is that people don't need to be told how to have fun.

No SirMustapha, the 'smugness and self-righteousness' of the author was part of the joke that this game is. Much like the great game, Acheivement Unlocked, this game is a parody, that is not only funny, especially in the ending here, but fun to play as well.

The fact that this game is so highly rated is one of my great delights in this website: the smugness and self-righteousness of the game author backfired, and the game is highly loved EXACTLY for the reasons the game tries to denounce.
Perhaps people DO like to upgrade things in games? Think about that the next time you make one of your "clever" games.

This game is So AWSOME!!!! THERES NO COMPUTER GAME BETTER THAN THIS ONE.
