I beat the hardened campaign pretty quick. It's not that hard, all you have to do is keep pushing through the Germans with the rifleman units. Also, level 4 is not "unfair" it's easy if you have rpg teams and officers.

This game is unfair on Hardened difficulty. Especially in Mission 4. Stupid Nazis get a new tank every time you blow one up, and there's no easy way to fortify yourself in the least.

This game is stupidly unfair / not possible. Second level of second difficulty, enemy puts three squads behind trench, you can only do 1. There's no way to win.

Here was my successful tactic for hardened. First, go for the infantry reinforcement time upgrades, to get t-20% resupply costs. After that, give your infantry grenades. Your stock infantry will only cost 160rp, which gives you plenty to spam grenades. Wait until you see the grenade leave their hand, then pay to throw another grenade. Tanks go down after about 6-8 grenades or so, and that's much more reliable than spending 400 (or 320 with the -20% mod) on a single bazooka team that will likely get killed before they get off more than one shot.

Its a good game, but it isn't fair. A game doesn't have to be challenging to be fun. It just has to be fair. Letting the enemy have artillery before the player isn't fair or fun. 2/5

Hint for lvl 4 : build a zooka as soon as possible and put alot of infantry in top or bottom lane,then the zooka should blast their tank and claim victory
