This game simply has all the stuff i love: a HUGE number of secrets, cool retro music and pixelated graphics, cool conversations, funny and dinamic gameplay, and finally, SNAILS.
Oh god, i love you for making this

Within five minutes of playing this game has already allowed me to relive all my favorite NES games. With references and similarities I've seen to mario, metroid, and zelda all within the first few minutes, this game is sweet!

Really, the only thing I found wrong with this game was the devastator powerup. I thought it was going to set right one of the few things I disliked about metroidvania games: that inevitably the last weapon became the only one you'd ever need to use. After the devastator powerup, the other two weapons should've been more powerful than the rainbow wave, since they had smaller hit areas, but instead the rainbow wave remained the most powerful of all the weapons, rendering the other two pointless. Still an awesome game, and a total 5/5.

this game is just epicly and i also would suggest an 'impossible' budge for finding ALL secrets, items and each wall you can break =) i also appreciate the idea of the game; when i first played it i though 'hell yea, a jumping snail? that will get funny' and i did not get disappointed :) 5/5 ah and btw: i like the ping ponbg game in the main menue ;)

Great game, sweet music. I am not enjoying trying to beat Moon Snail, though. I like a good, hard final boss. Don't get me wrong. But Moon Snail's hitbox is too big, and so are the hitboxes of his projectiles. I'm repeatedly getting hit when it does not look like I am getting hit. Also, I feel like the controls in general got a bit awkward after Gravity Snail. But other than that, great game!

This is a great game but i only think one thing should be tweaked. When i was fighting moon snail there were these times i could only hit him once or twice before he would start teleporting all over the room. I know hes supposed to teleport(or atleast i think he is) when you get to close to him, but when hes teleporting to the roof or walls still being able to deal damage but not able to take damage makes him fairly impossible

No wonder snails are dissapearing, they have two giant disembodied feet and a portal to hell right beside their town!

hey telapoopy. judging by your comment youre very young. any original gamer knows that up up down down left right etc is from contra on the NES. its the most well known cheat code on the planet. ANYWAY, to the review:
i was pretty impressed with this game. Its an excellent platformer done in the old-school metroid style. have no gripes whatsoever with the way its set up or executed. As a matter of fact, you should be pretty proud of yourself for this piece of work.
as an added comment to those complaining about controls etc, blah-blah, heres a thought:
GET BETTER, SHUT DOWN, or SHUT-UP.
pick one.

Niotron, you probably missed the Shrine of Isis. If not, idk what you're missing. Btw, how many helix frags do you have?
