The frequency of these pirates is insane. I lost 24 hours of profit in 11 minutes to the non-stop barrage of pirates. I've been playing this game 2-3 hours a day for 4-5 days and now I quit, major miscalculation in frequency of pirates.

ridiculous. lost ~15k gold and no idea how many guards and workers to pirates in less then 1 hour. oh and remove the "storage spot" right on top of the prefecture....

uhm i paused for maybe 2 weeks.... wtf did u do? im getting attacked by pirates like once a minute now, blackmailing me for 8-13k each time. when i try to fight they kill my guards like flies and kill my workers after. i have 0 guards now and cant even hire new ones in the prefecture, im defenseless even to thiefs now. at that rate, im broke soon....

going through the game pretty well, selling/buying ect.. I can't get any more books or slaves. They just stopped showing up! Is it because I allied with the blue banner?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't really see the issues people are having in earning their coins back for the debts... You are able to spend a little at a time (100) in order to lower the amounts. this results in less debt accumulating as well.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
uhm.... just sold some alcohol for ~100k.... and prices of the slaves skyrocketed to ~200-250k, female slaves even ~500k.... did i break the economy? XD (after refreshing, prices seem to be normal again though....)

A banking system would be cool too, and if you're looking to expand/make a sequel having different lands you could travel to in order to create a trade empire would be interesting. This would allow for pirate battles and the ability to get involved in war, kept simple but employing the same system used to support the Red Banner and Blue Banner factions.

Game needs more events and existing events to occur more often, and an end goal. Once I got to 10,000+ gold I got bored. Would be interesting to see how the ability to have a personal fleet would play out. More villains too, and possibly a reputation system that influences how the rest of the game world views you based on the decisions you make. On the plus side, game was engrossing enough to keep me awake several hours after the time I intended to go to sleep.

1) Female slaves are too difficult to get to upgrade all ores and salons. 2) There should be achievements and rewards. 3) There needs to be an in-game leaderboard. 4) Add daily missions. 5) Add ability to invade & steal other players' resources or make wars on them (difficult to implement but would be a tremendous update) 6) Add a speed x2 button. 5) Guards need to move faster. Otherwise, more economical to have just 1 guard and summon him all the time (-20 coins) to point of invasion, than to have 10 randomly wondering about slowly.

After purchasing observatory building, the name & description of the building are bugged: "buildings_observatory1_title", "buildings_observatory1_description"

Great Game. Once understand the market timing it becomes rather easy. Things change price seasonally and is pretty reliable. Sometimes you have to hold on to certain goods for a long time to resale them for profit (Wine - Meat - Oil) But needs more.. More mini games.. more something. But really fun.

I see a lack of available female slaves to buy. have 40k+ gold and everything else is maxed out except housing and taverns.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the Bulk order asking for way too many and they dont change often, How am i suppose to make money when gathering 55 moo when max storage is 151. Please, balance your game.

the weigh system is very time consuming and reweard is lame. No fun at all playing with that new feature. (where i am at tho. Trying to get treasure with that isnt easy at all because they always weigth 133 or 134)

Maybe selling/buying large amounts of one material to trigger other events in the game? Kind of like how if you support red you get more slaves and weapons and contraband whereas blue seems to deliver food and silk. You can make it broader. Such as selling heaps of gunpowder/weapons causing a war to trigger?
would make it more longevity as it's quite easy with a bit of time to max everything out atm.
Is it just me or is there no guards appear after the first upgrade?
Like you designs, concept and style, just need to tweak it to make it a more persistently fun game with some lifespan.

a bit more feedback: The saloon is disappointing after taking heaps of effort and traffic jams to upgrade it to max and all it does is give you 20 coins on a large ship and a traffic jam: which most of the time is counter productive since you want more flow for options of sales.
I would have liked to see the cattle trader step it up a notch another time if you manage to handle the ridiculous amount of cattle he sends you each time - eg. like the first time you manage it well twice he then sends you double, then maybe triggers another event?
I would like to see the researcher do something else apart from create books. upgrades for fisherman and workers huts would be nice.
Currently, the astronomer is pretty useless since he doesn't really tell you about any of the items you want to know about that late in the game when you can afford him.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Having a table of the average prices for goods would be handy. I've been holding on to one of every good so that I can have it as a reference, but when the jerks come and steal a resource, they also steal my reference, which is most unfortunate.

6. The saloon is pretty useless right now. Also, 500 incomes to be able to upgrade to lvl 2 is way too high.
7. I would love to see a dock which could act as a market counterpart. Autobuying items.
8. Would love to see the market being extended as you upgrade it so I can autosell multiple items.
9. I was disappointed fisher huts didn't upgrade after a certain amount of fish caught.
10. The 20% interest on the loan is ridiculous. It's tempting to get at start but then there's no way to get back from it and after a while you don't really need the loan anymore ( maybe only to purchase the astronomer).
11. I would love to see more use for the treasures.
12. War system is nice. Supplying your side with weapons is a bit pointless though. You rarely make money by doing that.
Overall I really enjoyed the game and hope you keep developing it.

So I just got my capital to lvl 10. I have a few suggestions so far.
1. The grind from capital lvl 9 to lvl 10 is insanely long relative to the other levels.
2. I would love to see the science center have more levels to unlock more recipes. For example: milking ar'cha's for honey would be a nice addition and it's already in the unit description.
3. I would love to see worker huts upgrade after you hit the worker hut cap and unchain more slaves. It would generate more taxes and would cover the warden costs a bit easier.
4. I love the way thiefs and guardians work. Great job, well balanced.
5. The astronomer focuses too much on low cost items, seeing as the astronomer for now is pretty end game. By then, I really don't need to know what's happening to the fruit but I want more info on moo's, kookie's, drugs, books.

I like the concept. A bit tiring waiting for the right sale to come up. Also, if you are using the market and the item runs out you can't click it to get rid of it without stopping all sales, which is annoying if you ahve multiple things at the market
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
TIP TO EVERYONE. No matter how tempting a loan is, do not do it. It is unpayable with the +20% per year. You will end up having to start fresh.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
buying is fine. Selling is a pain. Honesty i think selling should allow us to sell all at once. So we wait for the right deal. Profit then should be lowered.

Text font and size is tiny and very straining on the eyes-that's minor. But cant even start playing without buying kreds?! You're out of your mind.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Love it. Would like to see some reward for completing a whole ship and discount for razing a whole ship, especially the bigger ones. Love the concept and the trading. With the market you can auto-sell at a proffit. Would like an auto-buyer. Haven't yet unlocked the library.

6. An in-game info describing the items, statistics, market highs and lows, seasonal info, culture info, etc.. would be extremely helpful, I found myself occasionally forgetting what some things went for and buying something at a market high accidentally just to check what the market low was.
7. The pacing should be increased or there should be some more dynamic way of opting for automation earlier on in the gameplay cycle. though it's possible some of the earlier suggestions would solve this issue.
8. Maybe some sort of visual clue if a ship is carrying high market or low market goods.
9. Perhaps a more hands on way to deal with raiders if you are watching the screen, it's very frustrating to see a raider just roll up on your things and take something and be without -any- option.
Overall I've had fun for a minigame, but I think it has the potential to be a significantly more fun game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I am having plenty of fun, I do have some suggestions however.
1. I would like if progression felt more mission based or linear instead of random event based
2. It would be nice if you could more accurately predict or influence the flow of trade goods, for example if I bought a ton of fruit and held onto it the market would be starved for fruit for a little while until the fruit producers could meet the demand. Or maybe I know fruit comes into season in March and is in high demand in December as far as I can tell it doesn't function like that
3. It's extremely easy to fall into vicious debt, and though that is realistic to a degree 20% feels very hard to crawl out of unless you grind a long time or get lucky
4. An upgrade tree, or some way to improve yourself as a character, your lineage, or principality as time progresses. If there already is something like that I haven't unlocked it yet
5. A reset button; if you make a mistake early, you have to rely almost on chance to recover

I really like trading games but this one is really boring. Need to increase game's speed overall, increase profits because waiting 20min to get +1gold per item is ridiculous. Also the fish provided by the fisherman's hut is bugged, it can't be sold until you refresh the tab.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When the market for fruit doesn't change for a whole year, the market is clearly fluctuating too slowly. Please speed it up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fun so far, but needs more substance. Also, if you fill your port with goods, buying any more will result in money spent and no goods gained. If you have a habit of rapid fire clicking, this will completely demolish your savings for nothing. Oops.

You want us to spend kreds on the game. You're going to have
to do waaayy better. Bigger island, more choices and more menu options.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, so now, i have a 900/2000 debt, no money nor items to sell, i cant take more loans... so i need to wait more than 4-5 ingame years to be able to start again? and the game pauses if you are on another tab doing something? seriusly, you need a RESET option ASAP!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really want to like this game because I love trading games....but it's just too boring. Far too many bad trades pass through where you're just sitting there staring at the screen. The minimal profits also kills all the fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Interesting concept but the game moves far too slow and the market swings are super drastic and it seems a bit too open, no direction other than vague suggestions from random characters that show up and all demand money. Needs some work but moving in the right direction it seems.
