I've seen the question why does sulfur+water=acid... Sulfuric acid which is composed of the anhydride and water is the most commonly used of the strong acids and is often referred to as simply acid as the type wont matter too much unless u have to worry about reactions. therefore it is representative of acids as a whole.

How the hell does 'Sin' plus 'Sin' = pride? I really don't like these games. Once I get up to around 50 it just comes down to clicking everything on everything or waiting for the hint timer to hit zero. Some of the stuff is easy like 'Human' plus 'Food' = Gluttony. But then there is `Tobacco`plus `Beast` =DEATH! Unless I`m randomly clicking, how am I going to come up with that? I agree with Cevgar, when you click the first element it grays out the ones you've already tried. Another idea is to have a list of all the elements. That way at least we know what we're looking for. In the end, I just don't find much injoyment in these game as their more tedious then fun.

gluttony + woman = suffering?
amongst others, like heresy + human = atheism + psychology.
man + work = money, but woman + work = nothing.
this game can be hard to stomach.
also, pretty boring, repetitive, mindless.

@billpaxton : The interest/appeal to this game is the puzzle of finding all the elements. And the curiosity of wondering what will amke what. It's like a logic puzzle where the rules of logic have been modified and are learned as u play.

One thing that would improve these games *hugely* would be to replace the 'some of these elements can combine' hint (which just leads to mechanical trying of all possible combinations, which gets dull pretty fast) with a 'try to make X' hint. Then you know 'I can make 'poison' with two of my elements, so which ones might they be?'. That would keep the game much more creative.
