After playing it some more, yeah you might wanna balance it.
Unless there is ANYONE out there who actually beat level 4.

there is a seriou glitch at lvl 5. A green blob gets stuck between the greatest cell and the cell right to it. and the game never finishes because of that
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Damn, after this last update I'm going straight to 5 out of 5. If the multiplayer is amazing though I might have to pull a 6 out of 5 though.

Too easy the, the enemy AI isnt agressive enough. Slow play win is simple, wait for enemy to decide he wants something, let him try to take it, then smash either teh bases he came from or the base he wants. He gets banged up fighting neutral nodes and you get a location.

wow... I sure hope you came up with this idea on your own and not from intergalactics... This is practically an exact replica of that but missing a few things. VERY slow, and VERY easy. So I give it a....*drum roll* 3/5 (2.5/5 but can only go to nearest star.

yeah me too. I just went purely offensive not worring about anything and took each base befroe they could do anything

the best way i found if you go for a long game it will go slow
so group up all the ball things the attack the one with the most at the same time bring in new one from yore other balls
it is quick fast and you have a 70% chance of winning right away
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
nice idea, but its too easy.
the concept is missing something.
maybe you need a punishment for travelling nanos, like they are slowly dying and a group of 3 nanos may never reach its destination.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
that said i win every mission by just directly attacking the enemy cell with everything i have at the start of the game. if the ai were more aggressive and attacked my own cell at the same time it might make a difference, but it still doesn't change the fact that the game will just end up being who 'clicks' the fastest
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
sorry the strategy in the game is broken as capturing the enemy simply depends on how you manage the transfer of your 'nanos' across the map. since the only logistic here to consider is the distance and the nano size, it just boils down to who can click faster to win the game. a suggestion would be to actually limit the number of clicks a player can perform each second. the music and sound sold me but the gameplay is really flawed.. sorry

The A.I. has two key flaws you can exploit, TomTurbo:
1) It doesn't understand that you can reinforce a full node from another node, giving you infinite troops. If you can fight it to a standstill, you should always be able to build up a bigger force.
2) It's not aggressive enough - it likes throwing troops away to conquer neutral nodes. If you throw everything you have at the red nodes, you can often blitz red - it will attack grey instead of exploiting the hole in your defense, allowing you to wittle it down. Remember, you need to wipe out red to win, NOT conquer every node.

Very good game and concept, but AI is too easy to beat as I never had to restart and never lost. 4/5 could be better, looking foward to multi-player.

Is there anybody who did Level 8 in Nanowars? I tried about 50 times but i can't bet the green nanos... hmm, i'm wondering how it's possible.

This game is great! Such a simple and straight forward concept but very enjoyable.
I wish there was a randomly generated levels maybe with some settings.

its good, but needs to be a bit more challenging i think. now i just playd through it without having to start over 1 map.
and maybe if u have like 2 enemies instead of 1 would be better
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm going to give a 4/5 because of your effort, the concept its great and this is a potentially great game. You should improve what everybody is commenting, a better AI, a bit quicker gameplay.

Liked the concept of the game, quite nice.
Too easy though, and I'm at work with an old computer so I had to turn down the quality quite a bit just to get it fast enough to almost become challenging..
In my opinion, the best tactic is quantity over quality. If you attack with many smaller attacks, the enemy will be able to take one of your bases, but not all. And the AI is far too slow.. This game would be great if there were different difficulty settings, where the current one is the lowest. And maybe some more challenging levels with different objects like walls or moving enemies.

Great concept. I would ditch the number indicators in favor of shading the "nodes" from dark red, light red, gray, etc...depending on their strength.

I can see this game becoming really good when its finished. It would be awesome if there was a 2 player mode. I have only one complaint, at the end and the beginning of every level there is a way too long wait for it to start or end, maybe you should put a skip button?
Other than that this game could end up being really good.
