Having classical music with some beat added underneath... well sucks a lot... sry for this harsh comment, but this is ridicolous

generally I hate hidden object games, but this one is actually fun. The music mechanic is unique and gives it something to make it stand out from the rest of the genre.

Great game, note: jingle bells had several ways to solve, you need to keep moving pieces around to find the correct harmony.

Beautiful game, atrocious gameplay. The pixel hunting for pieces is tedious, and the shimmering for hints doesn't help much. It needs a 'hint' button to make all clues shimmer at once. The puzzle-solving part was quite weak with a lot of puzzles having a large number of solutions and needing trial and error to disambiguate. Finally, I won the game with one clue left to find in the second room, and I really don't feel like hunting for it.

Ummmm...just because the violin is playing it doesn't make it the melody. "In The Hall of the Mountain King" has the melody played first by the violin, second by the trombone. Not that I'm a music geek or anything...

i like the game, but i have found 4 different ways to successfully complete Aloutte and none are correct and the help is just wrong for it

Pretty creative game with great graphics, but I think you should have an option to disable the sparkling hints. It got pretty annoying to see them if you are not stuck - this way I felt in a rush to discover the secrets before the game showed me where to click, thus ruining the fun of searching..

WTF, I couldn't finish the game. I reached a point in which I had found all notes in the rooms, but the ten music pieces remaining where incomplete, and I was unable to carry on...

Are the outlines that you find random? I have found every outline in three rooms and I have 10 unfinished song outlines now. I can't go any further - nothing to solve nor find.

One of the few, if not the only "hidden object" game that I thought was worth playing. I liked to music puzzles. The puzzles could be bigger and longer :P

This game is amazing. I love how the puzzles can be solved by musical cues only, with help of the icons within the shapes, with the shapes themselves, or some combination of the three. 5/5.

Great until you get to Yankee Doodle. Not the right melody, nor the right harmony. Did you put that in from memory, or did you have a strange printed version?

I just started, and I love the concept. But in the very first one, "Hall of the Mountain King", the harmony instrument sounds way more like bassoon than trombone. I don't know if that's the MIDI instrument or what, but it sure is not like any trombone I've ever heard.

I dont want a tutorial for every little new click I make, thank you for not putting a 'skip tutorial' so i can actually enjoy the game by myself.

Love it, love the music, a unique twist on a genre I normally don't care for. But what's with the two rooms left on the map? I thought there would be more.

Nice concept, very playable. Although I didn't know some of the names of the music used in the game, I had heard all of them played many times before this game. A tip when playing, if it doesn't sound 'right', it's probably not!

Cool game, but some of the harmonies aren't quite right and threw me for a while. The voice (blue part) in the 2nd column for dance of the little swans for example.
Apart from that, really good, keep it up =)

But there is an older non-flash version which has already been sold to gaming platforms for charged download. So if you are the developer, this flash version is a teaser to sell the full version for playing the excluded two rooms, if you are not you should not take part in the monthly/weekly developer contest.

This game is about 3 years old and was published on several sites

http://www.bigfishgames.de/download-spiele/4595/musaic-box/index.html
will not let you grab these bucks if you are not the developer

Awesome game! My only gripe was that, not only does it feel a bit short, but due to the fact that the map makes you expect 5 rooms, the feeling is even stronger!

I suggest that you add "hard mode" to the game, where all the fragments are 1x1 squares so one cannot solve the puzzles "geometrically".

Needs both a reset button so we can play again from the beginning and a continuation with more than 3 rooms. Also a second game with contemporary songs would be awesome.
