So...judging from the developer comments, this is a distinctly less functional demo for the Steam version of the game. No thank you. Pity.

Is the steam version different? I have sunk quite a few hours into this game before realizing there is a steam release. If it has more content i could see starting over, but if it is the same i guess i will just deal with the massive lag spikes.

Unfortunately the steam game is not much better, some stuff is more powerful here than there, for example there the polymorph spell will affect only low level enemies. But at least if things don't work out very well at the beginning you are not against a mountain of farming before you can have some fun. The disadvantage of the flashgame is that often it is just less time consuming to start over than to farm enough to iron out the disadvantages you get from the uneven rewards.

Level 32 and I'm quitting. The massive grind for little reward is getting boring. Also whenever I increase the size of a hero squad (elven archer / wizard) I never seem to notice any difference? Game has potential though.

Can you increase the amount of money we get or decrease the XP we get? I often only have enough money to constantly level up my troops. Also, can you add a feature to skip battles that you've completed before? (E: Once you start it, you can skip it for a % of the rewards

The crafting is completely random. I'm more likely to get a bronze axe from better materials and a mithral axe from crap.

I love the game, buuuuuuut, speed button, and more equilibrium between gold costs. 4/5 only for this. Keep improving !

Will there be a setting to lower the game's quality to make it run faster? The game runs superfast whenever I let a fight run in the background.. but whenever it's on my screen it's slow as hell.. it's not my laptop as it recently ran Overwatch's beta on the highest settings.. I'd like to mention that I love the ability to create such diverse formations in this game.

What about extra missions that dont give you exp but gold? I cant craft, I cant lvl up because of lack of gold...

Why does armor games not have any multiplayer parts in it? You could've at least made it possible for players to make scenarios for other players to enjoy, to increase the amount of time that players would play the game.

lvl 39 besides the gold issue...only one gold cup.please fix the blacksmith shop....wants the pt. of using power5 materials= Lvl1 equipment huh???

ive got a lvl 3 warrior w/8% posion, no posion and now he's lvl21 wtf none, zero, nada, no one posioned this whole time,what's the point, be here every day till its fixed dvlper...

I have a lvl 22 wizard he has the same amount of mana as when he was lvl 1. I'm going to post every day until the dlvp. makes a fix....

For all the people who complain about levels:
It's not a very intuitive design choice, but you don't need to level everything directly.
Your troops will continue leveling up, you can apply the levels later when you got the money.
Also I suggest "spamtrap"s comment.

This game was lagging to much on this site so I decided to download the app on my phone. It is much better, no lag and so much of the grind has been removed. Great game

Great game, Only problem is my computer is so bad that i start lagging with 4 units on the field :/ could you add some settings to turn down the graphic so us with a bad pc is able to play the game aswell ? :)

This is not the game where you max out everything, here you have to balance your spending. You can not just spend on troops, because they need at least some artifacts, you need at least some spells, etc... Even specializing in a single spell is suboptimal. You need a really well balanced spending portfolio, and you need to get lucky too. sometimes the crucial things just won't come your way no matter how hard you try. Then you just scrap the game and have to start over. In the 90s there used to be plenty of games like this where you needed to die often to get a satisfying game. It makes sense, it is nos easy, and you have to earn success. 5/5 just for reviving this concept. The game is winnable if that is your goal and doesn't even need a lot of farming if you play it right, but it is not easy to find the balance among the various spending options. This is true even for the steam game, and there the situation is a much more predictable.

Blacksmith is broken for me, T1 resources seem to never give me T1 equipment yet T2 and above only give me T1 equipment.

After 2 days I made the following observations; esp. crafting at the blacksmith: how can you combine mithril metal, and the corresponding level of magic and make bronze boots? I have a # of issues with the blacksmith shop!! Esp. u spend more $ and use higher quality materials and u end up w/ the lowest quality item HUH?1? I've upgraded my troops and they take more time to complete a previous level???? I do not even make enough gold to level up my troops so I spend a great deal of time repeating levels. Need to be able to set priorities on the battlefield. A great deal of the "supportive" troops r completely useless, and no way to upgrade their amour etc. What is their purpose? Overall I like the game just to need to fix quite of number of things.

Why the difference between the game on Kongregate and Steam? (I speak of the creation of weapons, armor , etc. At least that's what I see in videos. On Kongregate seems to be random through the creation of items , not depending on the level of the materiall .
I've done high level weapons with low- level materials without mixing materials of different levels.(<<< This on Steam) Why this happens? Or this is only "luck"?
