Has anybody found out what the stars are good for in this game? I mean does it in fact make any difference if I 1-star or 3-star a dungeon?

I would like to make a suggestion in which you are allowed to choose what race you want to be. In this case, you can only be human and stuff, maybe I want to be on that dark side instead and have to fight the "good guys." And maybe, eventually, they have downfalls and such. By the way, great game ;). I hope to see more content in the future.

Horrible tutorial. I did not even know I was suppose to click on the red circle. After first battle it there is nothing to guide you. 1/5

I am getting huge lagspikes whenever the meteors spell kills a bunch of people, and also the speed of the game seems to slow down (lag?) whenever a lot of enemies and / or allies are being killed by any source.

Dude if you start paying attention to the feedback from your players and respect what they want maybe your games will be more than 4 stars and get badges....

Really fun for a few hours but then is pointlessly a grind just to advance yourself a tiny bit because of how expensive things are and how hard certain boss levels are. Crafting is largely worthless because of how little it helps your stats and there's not enough progression to warrant investing any time into this game

Question: What happens by refreshing in the Tavern? Are all heroes lost and all their skills and spells / upgrades of troops ...?

Love Majesty, it's probably my favorite game of all time (just wish they would make the 3rd one already)... Didn't like this game at first (the grinding for $$)but gave it a chance and it turned out to be a lot of fun :D Good job!

1. Speed buttons, because the developers suggestion to "use spells" to stay busy during a battle is nonsense when you can only cast spells 1x per battle, 2. Blacksmith needs to be reworked, 3. Rewards need to be reworked, 4. Spell upgrades need to be reworked, 5. Need descriptions of what stuff is or does, 6. The rare hiring of random 2+ star heroes is lame, 7. Balance in general is fubar, players will never be able to afford all available upgrades or equipment leaving you with partially leveled and partially equipped heroes grinding forever to do anything. This is hard to give a 3/5 when it should be a solid 5/5 game. I will now post this in the "ignore comment section" so the dev wont have to read it.

The crafting system makes no sense. I use only iron and get a bronze weapon, then only bronze and can get an iron weapon? Percentage based? That's insanely weird and makes crafting and searching for materials a waste of time, get your s*** together dude

Why is the blacksmith plans COMPLETELY different from the PC, to the mobile version? Like the "reroll to another item of the same power level". That's kinda messed up.

watsit, each use of a spell counts for one use. I have 5 spell slots now, and gaining 5 points in my chosen spell each battle.

The speed is a graphics issue. If you want to "speed up" the game you have to do something counter-intelligent. Get your things in order, and scroll away from the moving images. It'll get done super quick (meaning: Set it up, look away, go read the comments or something)

Greatcloud #5, "orc leader Thrall". I bet blizzard will not sue you for it, but still have that in mind when using names from the warcraft universe

There's a bug with poison: it doesn't kill. If the enemy is brought down to 1HP, the next poison tick does not kill him, does nothing.

My three major problems with this game:
1) There should be some reward for losing. If I kill all but the last enemy my men should get experience for that, even if I lose. Passively sitting there watching the game for about a minute and gaining nothing is dissatisfying.
2) Gold gained is too little. Increase the amount to avoid grinding and repetition.
3) Speed up button, por favor.
Some good potential here, fix the grinding issues and difficulty spikes and you've got a great game.

- comment after finishing game 4/4:
There is a good game, I'd even say a type of games, hidden here somewhere beneath all the sloppy balancing work of the current developers. I'm not a game developer nor I intend to be, but I'd love to see any step up to the task and create a clone of this game that does not suck. The many comments of kong users here that like this game mechanics but are frustrated with the horrible, horrible implementation, are IMHO a good indicator that a cool game similar to this one would be a hit. Please, someone, if you wanted to do a fantasy tactics game at some point, just get a hold of the community in a forum thread or somewhere else and create something beautiful.
To the developers of this game: I don't really know what you were thinking. You have a great idea for a game and you implement it like noone has betatested it, ever. What the heck is wrong with you?

- comment after finishing game 3/4:
Do not give out gold to players like it costs you real money. Don't set up incredibly step difficulty increases near the end of the game (like Cursed Mountain #10) forcing the players to grind senselessly to advance a level (at least we could get 2.400 gold a pop by polimorphing the skyscraper, which should not be possible - bosses should have a higher resist to one-shotting spells - but were not for this trick I wouldn't have even bothered to upgrade my troops and finish the game).

- comment after finishing game 2/4:
In any case here's my call to others developers who plan to create games: please make a clone of this game, one that works. The idea of this game is very cool, and is something that is not abundant in kongregate. A game where you hire, train, then deploy and send to battle a bunch of heroes with their troops, while you as a general watch the battle from above and can issue orders and cast spells. The idea is awesome and there are not many games like this one. You end up like, really caring about growing and grooming your heroes, and that's cool.
And that's where the coolness ends. Apart from that, the game grinding is absurd. Many, many things shouldn't cost gold, like spell upgrading or recipe making. When you clone this game, use the gold just for hero recruiting and troop levelling and nothing else, because everything else is ok being upgraded with experience (like hero levelling).

- comment after finishing game 1/4:
I finished the game. It's a bit masochistic, I know. I wanted to know if at some point the game regained any luster. As I said in a previous comment, I wanted this game to be good, because the premise is cool and the game seems very likable at the beginning. After finishing the game, I can say 2 things: either none of the developers have given it a complete run, because there are a few big insanities down the road, or they have and are very conscious of what it takes to finish the game, and deliberately inflict that pain upon players. In any case I downgraded my rating from an initial 4/5 to 2/5 because they are either lazy and refuse to update it, or sadistic because they don't care.

Ok, to make the criticism a bit more constructive :) - here's what I think this game needs:
1) either remove gold prices from many things or reduce them drastically (by 80% at least). Definitely for troop sizes, spell slots and hero skills.
2) Remove the randomness from blacksmith. At very least, tiers should be respected, but ideally each item should have its own unique recipe, guaranteed to work. Otherwise, it's really a very painful grinding to get a particular item missing in a set. Also converting three items to higher tier should allow only items of the same type (or at least the same usage slot).
3) Performance is really abysmal.
4) Cut down on the levelup requirement for spells. Otherwise it leads players to do nasty tricks like start battle, spam spells, pause, restart, rinse and repeat.
5) We need at least some minimal way to control our troops in battle. To start with, at least tell the hand-to-hand fighters whether to hold ground or advance.

is there a better way to make gold, or must i just accept that i will always have many more levels/skills/etc available than i can afford to buy?
