it would be cool if we could reorder the priority the workers pick jobs like if i wanted to put researchers as the first job without turning down the amount of farmers ill allow

This game should be called SimCommunist.
Darth the stock amounts are realistic. People don't keep huge amounts of food.

As soon as I start producing medicine the population starts wobbling forever. Any idea as to why this is happening? Population and medicine might need some tweaks.

Basically be like China, Increase your population as much as possible with farms and woodcutters THEN focus on buildings...

Suggestion: auto-save on serverside. I usually play on different pc's and especially idle games are perfect to come back to after a break. If the game saves automatically on kong, like skillquest does, then I can return to the game whenever and whereever I want. For now, I can't see myself playing this game, knowing I will somewhere lose my code again and again.

So I just got to 100000000 people, got some genes, ascended and got through the unholy slog of playing t that point again to actually use my genes...only to find the g ame claimed I had none...this is either a bug or the game didn't do a good job of explaining the ramifications of clicking the ascend button

why does everything i make stockpile like wood/tools/cars but food never stockpiles for the generation gap? I can make 1mil+ a year food but cant even above 1mil food

Contrary to what it says, the SICKER mutation actually helps with population stability after obtaining medicine in ample supply for your whole population. When the population lives beyond 65 it quits working - SICKER keeps your population young and fit to work, keeping your population working % above 50. The only thing SICKER does to your population is clear out the elderly faster, allowing new babies to be born. Use this to your advantage by adding small amounts to BIRTH RATE to quickly rise to max population, but reduce it to zero when half your food consumption per year is reached to avoid a massive generation gap. SICKER will prevent the generation gap from being large.

Sorry, to clarify previous comment: Don't turn off ALL mutations, just the ones you're not using. While using AGGRESSIVE and at war, you want to be sure that a percentage [can be a relatively small %, like 1%] of your genes remain in Research, you need SMARTER to progress into the very late game stages. Research from war is one of the slower resources to make your own production obsolete.

My current strategy is: use EFFICIENCY when building anything. Use STRONGER early to get wood quickly. Rush to research worker management, buy all the lowest cost farm efficiency and farm worker upgrades. Use worker management to keep at least 1% in woodworking, rely on mutation to supply inordinate wood and reduce costs through EFFICIENCY. Rush to buy tool/medicine/car production and micromanage population to supply everyone. Rush to research and use SMARTER to quickly obtain knowledge (same way you did wood). Once you produce enough for everyone (and excess), work on getting efficiency so high that all your work stations are filled. Then go to war with AGGRESSIVE and turn off other mutations. Go until you can't provide enough tools/medicine/cars, then keep going to war in all directions. When you can't afford any war-related research, you hit a "wall". Split your genes [50/50?] into BIRTH and DEATH, this will cause you to rapidly gain Mutation. Wait. Eventually ascend. Rinse repeat.

thing were going along quite well had a nice little balance then im like ok time to build a medecine factory and get money.. profits skyrockets in seconds but so does my pop food goes down almost instantly and i start losing 124 a year went from 12000 pop to 6000 in 30 seconds. Guess that 's what you get from making profits XD greed is always punished

This game requires a solid time commitment to get past the start. My recommendation is to 'start' the game, build a woodcutter and max farms with your starting gold, then literally leave it open in a tab for a few hours. Come back when you have a bit of money to play with and it starts taking off pretty quickly.
I really enjoy min/max games and this delivers. You will go through several periods of rapid or slow growth, and adjusting your build strategy to suit your needs will speed your gameplay up a lot. When you have access to medicine, its probably best to ignore it, but after an hour or so you need to max medicine for income, only to completely ignore it again a day later since war takes over in efficiency. Underrated game that will not be properly experienced by most because of the slow start and plain look.

Lol. I tried to kill them all, but the population cannot go below 1000. Well, enough of this game. It was fun for a while, but that is it.

I think you need to switch the + and - signs for allocating workers. It is unintuitive to have + before the number - after.

I don't see how it is possible to progress in this game. The people can only just keep themselves alive by producing food. As soon as they start woodcutting, the food productions drops, and eventually they stop woodcutting again. Getting people to woodcut requires a stock of food, and they will only woodcut until that stock is gone. I don't see how I can ever get to produce tools.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but the number of genes you have should always display as rounded down. I constantly have 1 gene left over and while it isn't a big deal it is kind of annoying.

Those people are eating way too much, please reduce that slightly, would make it better for building other buildings rather than endless farms, and reducing farm from 100% to 90% is getting my poor people killed.

the pop up for how much wood money ect. that shows when you go over the amount for buying doesn't go away and keeps blocking me from clicking things, a toggle to make it stop showing up would be nice

Not too far into my 3rd "ascend" with around 40b genes, and I just came up with a suggestion - is there any way to reduce "billion", "trillion", "quadrillion" (et al) to either alphabetical or scientific shorthand? The numbers are getting cut off. I can't see my gains per year because they get pushed off of the mini-window.

THERE IS SOME BIG BUG IN GAME!
1. Set army to go to war
2. refresh page
3. now you have "Infinity milion" attack and you always win
4. use some autorefresher in your browser for interval about 15s and you have infinity won battles
In one night I get to 1 decillion (10^33) people

There are a lot of weapons that still work from wars much longer than eight years ago. Why can't more than 50% of them come home from a win? Or can we train soldiers to march to their deaths but not to clean, oil, and replace parts now and then?

You have 60,000 people in your country! Men: 1063 Women: 977.. that makes a lot of sense. I found it comical the game opened with the developer's opinion about his own game "A fun game" lolz

Doesn't take long to realize why genocide is such a popular tool in the world. "I am trying to create an empire here people, why do you have to use all my resources? If you don't work you don't eat!"

Speaking of annoying, what's up with the crazy amount of lag in this game? It's not as though it's trying to do real time 3D rendering or heck, even using the PC speaker! Also, what's up with all those "javascript:void(0);" windows that keep opening up? Is that an attempt to spy on us or something? Whether the answer to this question is yes or no, there's NO reason for those windows to keep popping up. I've had at least 30 of them pop up so far and I've only been playing this game for about 2 hours! Terminate them NOW, please, and if you do have spyware in this game, then get rid of that too. Everyone else, please upvote to make sure that the programmer sees this.

I'm at 300.000 years and I'm still stuck at 7 million inhabitants. how should I arrange my buildings (percentages) to get people to man the research centers and barracks? (basically overpopulate, cuz I still can't)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've noticed something weird when going to war - if you lose the fight, sometimes instead of resting for 8 years and restoring to full power, your army fights at a fraction of what it's supposed to, like it's taking less weapons after a rest. It doesn't happen every time, but it's pretty damn annoying. After a rest, your next wave of soldiers should restock, regardless of whether the previous army lost. wtfo.

suggestion: there should be more archievements for tools. It's to easy to get to 3000. I still don't know where is the end od archievments for cars, research and weapons. And it's good. Archievments shouldn't end sinse game doesn't end.

it would be useful to have the next achieve level for the building in the tooltip, so you don't have to switch and scroll everytime you want to check
