how do you get your country to go to war do you have to research it or what because i have a full barrack and nothing to do with it

and it still needs control over how many % of conquered territories u want to use. cause that food u get from there makes this IMPOSSIBLE to get enough tools/cars to advance at some point.

this game needs an option to SELL stuff. like if u want to balance your war stuff so that u can produce enough weapons to give every soldier a weapon. just 1 wrong upgrade can fak that up and make u waste tons of stuff.

Suggestion: UI improvement - make windows non-
scroll: it's annoying to accidentally scroll both in-game and browser window
-More Stats, charts, bars, pies ect it's fun
-More importance on medicine or some more gameplay elements
-More stats for war: show what's goin on, better attack% defense% Unit types maybe?

my thoughts after first ascension: First I liked that you can change your genes as much as you want. But as I like to play ass effective as possible I start to dislike it, cause to be that effective I have to switch the genes all time. So my suggestion is: Only give 1 free respec of genes each ascension. remove consumer (cause in lategame you dont have enough tools and cars anyway, and most of the money you make with war, so this mutation is not only useless, it hurts you in lategame). look at swarmsim for the ascension mechanics, there is some logarithmic formula for gaining and spending mutations. that means that the first 100 genes you spend in a mutation gives a much bigger bonus then the next 100 genes, but with each ascension you also earning alot more genes. I think if you overwork the ascension system this game get a much longer replay value

@lackinglack1 In the early game its most important to produce enough tools and cars. As this 2 makes farm workers more efficient. Also the farm production +2% research is important. Cause all this stuff let the same number of farm workers produce more food and that gives you free workers for other jobs. And unless you need the money dont produce much medicine. Another thing that will help you is war. Lets say you get 10'000 food from a county every year that means you have 10'000 extra people you can asign to another job.

How do I get enough workers to fill ALL job types? It seems like even if I put Wood at sommething super low like 10% or even 5%, I still can't easily fill research center and I can never fill or even get any workers to do weapons research or go into barracks. How to fix this?

Ohhh man, after all that! I've been playing this Side-by-Side with my Work at Home job and now that I ascended I just got 0 genes...contributed money to have that Speed Increase...you need to fix that man!

Hey Man…. I love your World Idle Game… I have been a Gene collector…818 on my first ascend….and 3546 on my second.
Problem is after second ascend i ended up with 0 Genes… and i also lost 14k bonus years…
If i can get this fixed then i will get a hard code before ever ascend.

So being able to adjust percentage levels for workers is nice but a research that instead allowed us to reorder priority on the buildings would be much nicer

IMPORTANT TIP GUYS (developer should also state this somewhere): You can always rearrange the genes as you please, i.e. you dont have to wait till a reset, to move your genes from "Effective" to "Babys"

Hey Baldurans,
nice game. I think there is a glitch in going to war, if you have to fight the same block more than once your attack is dropped in half each time until you are basically just killing off personnel.. you have to pause and then re attack to reset it to full attack again..

Its the year 89'000 and I have a population of 2.6 billion. The genes production seems on a good level now, I have 450 genes and earn like 1 gene every 30-40 years. If I wait now 1 or better 2 days I am on a good spot to ascend. Still feel it is too slow (as I wanted to ascend days ago) but maybe with some genes it will be faster. Any tips to spend genes on? I feel like Babies, Effective and Aggressive are the important ones.

While I am using the Fast play, I will frequently see food go above 1 million. Immeidately on switching to slow play, food drops to 330k and change. In fact, every time I fast play and the food goes above 350k, it will drop back to 350k or less when I switch to slow play.

Perhaps some defensive upgrades for your army, would be nice if everyone didn't die from the first territory each time.

Defensive technologies would be amazing. I kinda feel bad throwing millions of people to their deaths over and over again just so I can throw millions of people to their deaths more effectively.

if you don't want your population to increase get people into barracks and send them to the north and your population will stay roughly the same

For more population build farms and their research upgrades, later conquer west for more food. conquest in general helps. for faster reproduction put some genes into "Babies"
if your army dies and all your men ended up going to war, your population becomes extinct ( you know only males and females make children) and you start with 1000 people.

So wait... when i go to war why does my whole population just die away... i just went from having 100 million people to just 1000... Are the farmers so pissed that they ran to enemy territory with just Hoes or something?

Some tweaks for challenge, building maintenance needing wood, tools required for efficient farming, something to make farm stacking less easy.

Game mechanics are too dependant on Food production and game imbalances way too easily. For a game about statistically based control I find it too irregular and just plain annoying. Also worker Distribution is geared all wrong imo. It should allow you to select what percentage of People go to which area rather than what percenage of each Job max to fill.

War is divided in 8 or 9 years of combat, and 8 or 9 years of resting. If all you fighter dies, combat ends and don't continue until the last year. You only send a fixed number of soldier for the total years. Which is equal to the soldier count from your barracks. After playing a while, you will see that it is not possible to cope with the number of soldier you need to sustain the casualty to live 8 rounds. It will be all about sending enough soldier to kill to win one land in one year, and wait 8 year until you can conquer one more land. You want to send as little weapons as possible (that's the bottleneck at high level), and not throw your population into inbalance by sending too many soldier: this is not a problem at high level, you will never have barracks high level enough to send more than 0,1% of your men to fight... So you just send enough attack power to kill exactly the number of defense soldier to win in 1 year.
