@GenBOOM very early on, you get an upgrade which lets you change the percentage of max workers you can have, so if you're struggling with medicine, put the woodcutting on 0% until you work it out.

What makes this game a challenge is the order in which your population does jobs. What makes this game not fun is that you cannot change this order. Its intentionally designed to frustrate the player. It would be much easier to manage your population if the developer simply moved the medicine to be just below the farm so that it has a higher priority than wood cutting and tool making. After fiddling around with this game for a few hours I am very disappointed this game has nothing else to offer. If you progress through the game and make a mistake in your build order you cannot get past a certain point in the game because research requires a high level output of products. Its simply a balancing act that requires you to replay the game until you make no mistakes. I do not see how you could find this to be appealing or enjoyable at all. It seems like it would be easier to create a bot to play the game for me rather than play it casually.

Great game, but one thing that's missing is us being able to affect the order buildings recruit in. As population fluctuates, the workforce changes in size and you'll either have not enough workers for jobs you want done (less production), or the workers will "overflow" into the next job (or become unemployed). Please make it so we can chose where workers overflow to, or having a setting allowing the distribution amount to be exceeded if you have unemployed workers.

romp48, to get the research center, you need food, wood and tools, but don't worry about those yet, focus on only food and wood, till your population is huge, then worry about tools, then have enough for research center for knowledge

It would be great if we could see stats over time. That is, if we could see how are population fluctuated throughout the years.

what would be nice: a graph of population about the last yeras (10, 100, more? less?) so i can see how my population got up and down over the last decades :3

16.5 woodcutters "has anyone seen half-man Joe?" "F*ck off!! I lost my legs in the saw machine and you know it you f*cker!!"

i am making more food by like 300+ more then what the demand asking for and the food in my stock is down. why is that?

nvm, copied my save and reseted and i saw i didnt had them, so i pasted it again and came back to waste my bonus years before i ascend

I dont understand what people are saying about medicine, sure when its at full it can cause problems, but when you provide half the demand all it does is boost the population growth by an easily managable extent

after playing this game for a few hours, mandatory food buffers (having any food storage at all mandatory) is the true leading cause of population instability, medicine makes it more difficult to cope with this inherent limiter on population stability, i hereby request some upgrade to manually decide the maximum food buffer as a percentage of the current algorithm's value.

When you have over 20,000 people yet 1.5 babies are being born... I feel bad for the parent of half a baby its a miracle its alive but its going to cost alot

need to make west provide even less food again...that would help a LOT for
late game
also it would be very cool if you could made a research that allows you to control how many food do you recieve from conquered countrys

Sooo... had medicine, food, 100k population, was solid at 98-101k, then.... 30% population loss in all of about 10 seconds, bye bye 30k people >.> don't get it, didn't change anything at all when this happened. lol.

It would be interesting to see the entire total population over a timeline like the whole period of play.
Maybe have a research that once achieved allows you to move the building fill order.
How about a mutation that makes a better farmer.
A slider on the population age distribution so you can see the population at an exact age.
How about a research to enact euthanasia where you can say hey I want my population no more than X. In the real world I would never like this but this is a game.

The ability to put the barracks in front of other buildings would be great to allow the ability to use all the women who do not go to war to build the guns
