Everything's okay, population flourishing, economy growing... And then I bought medicine factory. HOLY COW. Old people ate everything and my cpuntry became a ruin.

you need to change the font color the yelow suck, it's hard to see on the white, or give some color options, for people to change them selfs.

needs to be re balanced more right now i have 270,000 workers and 198,000 workers are going to food makes it pretty hard to increase in anything else

I think it may help your score if you were to define it a tad more clearly that bonus years add instant progress, I almost joined in on a collective of people who assumed the bonus years added to a time limit. Perhaps on the bonus years page you should add a better explanation of how it works, or at least say the game runs indefinitely? Otherwise, an enjoyable game thus far.

I'm not sure I would call this an idle game. There's no autopilot that I can see. As funny as it sounds, I want my idle games to be less work.
It is a small bug, happens because max food = food you see + consumption. If consumption increases, you see a bit less. Doesn't affect gameplay in any way, but will be fixed with next update

this game is really weird. Out of all the idle games I like it the most. To me though it really isn't a idle game. I am constantly trying to analyze what is going on. At first it was pretty simple, get more food production so you never lose people. Now it has turned into control the population cycles so you are gaining people and not fluctuating out of control. Especially when you buy a big upgrade. Wood production is my control and as a result i am always low on wood.

You really need to tweak population modifiers, having the elderly die because of decreased medicine production lowers worker count, and tools are used by everyone, even the unemployed.
That is really how it was designed, to be a bit more challenging to handle, not like many games lately where there seems to be no challenge. Hope you like it :)
God your people are slow on evolving :D Imagine if you would have to invent fire :o
But one thing I can tell for sure, they produce more babies than wood :)
(Actually that is normal, hopefully you laughed a bit. :))

I think the way the "bonus years" work is that there isn't a cap on how long your civilization will last. They can be "consumed" to give you a sort of... offline progress, but instantly.

Sorry, I realy realy like the concept, but it is just broken. Every time I start producing Medicin my people start dropping dead because of losing food. Then they stop producing medicine ans even more are dead till it stabelices again.
There is actually max food you can have. If you think about it, if you would have infinite max food, population would grow a lot and then huge huge famine would strike.

I would much prefer to have the distribution of workers to be in increments of 1% as an option as well, 10% is too much of a jump if one doesn't have enough workers in the other buildings
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Interesting problem I hit upon, If you have a large amount of farms, the jump between 10% and 20% workforce could be too large to cross, meaning that my medicine and tool production would shutdown upon selecting the 20% employment for farms, the drop in medicine and tools would then throw the workforce into shambles, leading to the population dropping. Would appreciate a way to fine tune the ammount of workers rather than the % system as is.

I want to like this game, it seems really well made but the fact that time is limited really turns me off of this game. I had originally given this game 5 stars, but upon seeing the support screen my rating changed to 1.

Brutal, soul crushing economics. You stopped just short of using old people for recycled material. Maybe in a future update?

I'm assuming the reason the stockpile isn't raising would be because I'm selling it, is there any way to change the amount I sell vs. stockpile?
Unfortunately no, people are very violent and just take it all. You are even lucky that they give you money for it.. Actually a lot of money. But you can't control it :(

this game would be a bit easier if food stockpiled like other resources instead of capping at slightly more than double production
It would really break it if it was infinite. Population would grow and grow and grow. You would not be able to keep up with the demand and at some point huge huge famine would strike.

There needs to be a way to stop your villagers buying certain resources. I opened a medicine factory to see what it did and it destroyed my economy. I now can't produce tools because everyone demands medicine and takes tools instead. These ran out so they turned to my food supply. I went from 14000 villagers with +food and tools to 3000 villagers who can barely farm enough to survive.
Can't be. Make sure you keep producing food. If you but medicine etc late in the game, people always demand it, but it doesn't mean you have to give them it. The point is it has maximum demand, you ive less it is fine. You just get a bit less money and lose on some overall bonuses. (Later it is good to give it all, as tools, cars, medicine all give bonuses)

This is a very nice piece of work. I've only just started, so I am going to hold of on rating for a bit, but I am quite impressed by what I have seen so far!

The food production has no correlation to the stockpiles... 1 min in and already found a deadly error... not promising
