But thanks to your setup, just changing hermes to hades on Thau, was a great improvement. Thanks theruski.
Other stat sockets prove a much less strong setup.
Until you unlock thau and monk, go with warrior-priest combo which was mentioned in another comment.
Hey, I should have a new update out in the next couple weeks containing a new Ballad, some more Trial of Resolve battles, and some other smaller stuff (including a few bug fixes).

@Tombex all golden apples are from 'Fertile Fields' and only apple thieves in that location drop them. Also good combo suggestion, if you use zeus + hades on single target fights it can stack the follow up hits if you 1 shot them

Nice combo - ares+hades - You can basically click "G" and nuke all levels in 1s with this duo ability - on wild thicket it is around 28k exp per second before multipliers :)

@Orogogus: Thx for the reply. Guess I got impatient with the slow jewelcrafting grind. I'm yeeting olympic gods into oblivion, but making a pretty gem seems to be more difficult :D

Jero: The rutile gem fragments are for crafting into rutilated jewels, the next level above flawed. But you need to have your Jewelcrafting high enough to craft Epic recipes. I think those recipes start filling in between 75-100?

I'm trying to get Aphrodite's armor from the trial, and I feel like there's something borked about her supposed 5% drop rate. I've defeated her and Eros 57 times now, and only gotten one ring and no armor, which should have been a 95% chance by now. Even higher, I think, since most of these were with the 25% drop rate boost active, so probably more like 97% or 98%, but still no armor. Combined with the odds of only getting one ring after 57 chances I'm pretty sure it's well past 99%.

Are you planning to make it possible to reset your charakter like gods? It says I can get passives 25 times but lvl up your charakter takes weeks.

Arashsaber, in addition to High level of characters and resetting all gods to 1 before going to god trials I'd go as fast as possible to time fragments and level up gods mid-fight. You probably did have it on, I just think it's worth to mention :)

when is monk and thaumathurde is unlocked? Also what are the possible ballads? And how do I use minor armor slot item, can't find where to apply it to armor to increase slot

Anyone who wants to beat a god:
Gods are getting stronger with the your lvl and the lvl of your gods. grind good items, then reset your gods to lvl 1 and kill with potions.

my monk and thaumathurge combination seems to down easy ones like apollo and ares at any point, will try killing others on low levels after i hit the level cap again. they are still on low permanent bonuses since i switched to them not that long ago..

When I try to do the god trials at low levels they're still a lot tougher than my team and I still get whomped no matter what classes I try; it's not even close. I thought I'd try potions but it seems like they're immune to damage potions? Not nice that the game doesn't tell you that. I guess I could keep leveling up the classes to boost abilities instead of stats, but it's tedious. So what's the trick?

and i'm slightly wondering how defence and hp-regen work? could defence stat be made more transparent so see if it's woth investing in? and doesn't the flat hp-regen amount seem pointless the further you get in the game making some gear/stats useless?

Any tips on how to clear Trial of Skill at Olympus? Since the gods scale with your stat, I can't seem to complete it. Characters ~1M health, Gods ~150M health. If I go for damage, Gods will 1 shot my heroes with their big hits. If I go for enough defense, I can't beat the timer.
Your progress is saved in your browser data so as long as you don't wipe your browser data, your progress shouldn't reset. You can always export your data in the settings if you are concerned with losing your data.

nvm it's a daily ticket in the colosseum. only recommend doing it once your gods are high level. or like the previous guy said, enough throwables to do a bunch of damage while paused.

its trial of the stars(normal) against ganymede (which i havent unlocked as a god) and i cant see any rewards anywhere
Completing the Trial of Skill will give you a buff to XP/Loot Rate (you should see the icon by the name of the subzone you're in at the top of the battle screen.) You'll also gain a good amount of XP and Affinity XP from the god you defeated. The gods have a chance to drop Nectar and some of their Special equipment.

I found a way to skip the early grinding phase after a reset: go to Coliseum, use pause when timer is about to expire, reset, press play ! Not sure if pause button was intended for that use...

@dev: Game is running great on firefox, days on a row without any crash or bug. About the play, it feels like Chtonic ugrade cost scales way too fast, and that there are not enough active play elements to use between idle phases... Also, how/when do you get your class beyond lvl30 ?
