Agree that items need a description. And they should also be logical - why is there a fishing rod in the chest with books and papers?? More interactive detail that doesn't always drive the story would be good, like cupboards opening and closing.

got the baby the zombie true form, and the fishing pole with the rope...., i have tried objects with everything, (ok probably maybe not everything)the problem is one doesnt know what one can interact with

Way too wicked for me. I had to pick up 3 hints from the comments. I dislike the theme, but it's made pretty nice. Thanks! 3/5

Nice game...yeah objects could be easier to identify. Nice tone but overall a bit too easy...only took about 5 minutes of mostly trial and error...still liked it though

Well the baby is kinda hard to click and yeah this is bad game overall, the puzzles are pretty much almost bwuh worthy but I guess since this is not an Idle games I can give it 3.

Solid 5/5. I wait for games like these on kong since they became rare. nice point&click adventures with solveable riddles that can be finished in less than one hour.
good mechanics, as an improvement i suggest there'd be a zoom on the inventory objects.

If a chest is locked, it really should have a keyhole. That blue box in the living room area looks just like an inanimate cube.

The last scene with footprints. Humans do not walk this way. Only if she hops on both feet. Normally, one foot is on the ground at one time.

I was going to use the bathroom, but I really got into this game alot, then the baby scared me and made me poop my pants! oh, and i just got out of the shower because of that, so yeah, i'm not nasty!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The sound effect is quite annoying. The puzzle actually make sense but it is difficult to know what the item is if you pick things quickly because of no description. Probably a 3/5. But if this is your first game then it's pretty good, keep it up!

--- SPOILER BELOW ---
Definitely a cut above the average escape game, since they've become so repetitive. I agree with several comments that I couldn't tell what some of the things were, but only discovered their use by random clicking. If I had realized that the item was a fishing rod, I probably would have tried to combine the rope and rod before using it, which would have left me frustrated. Fortunately, I didn't know what it was until I used it. Also, I never understood the point of filling in the pentacle -- did that summon the baby? I know he wasn't there before, then he was, so maybe that's it, but it wasn't clear. Finally, I see that the painting of dogs with pentacle was clues to which items go into the one I need, but since I couldn't tell what two of those items were in the painting, I was glad that only the correct items would go into the pentacle anyway. But that would have been a good puzzle, to get the right items in the right order.
Do you mean as a bug? Are you sure you did the previous steps? (SPOILER: the pacifier must be dipped in blood). In case it doesn't work please tell what exactly happens (if the game crash, or anything else that happens in that part) so it can be revised. Thank you.

Nice art. Sound is ok. Could be longer. Items need tool tips. Puzzles were pretty good. They were too easy or too hard. Add more and it will be a 5/5 game.

I just completed it, that was realy great. The way the art told the story without the need for text was realy well done.
BUT
as others have said the items in your inventory and objects in the game world can be hard to identify. The ability to enlarge inventory items would have been a massive help (I had no idea the object from the chest in the living room was a fishing rod until I randomly used it on the window)
and yes, the creepy-ass baby is your friend, although I still don't understand why I can't throw him out the window.
Thanks! The philosophy of the game was to tell the whole story without texts or flashbacks. About the zoom, it's something to consider for future games as some of you had advised about it. Thanks for the feedback!

Liked the game. Subject matter was great. Really did not like the no save progress. Had to restart 4 times, bearable because of shortness. Lack of description on items made it a random clicker. Couldn't remember or just didn't have any idea of what some of my inventory was. Overall I will look out for your next one and will remember to do it full screen. Would have been way better if I did full screen and in the dark.

SPOILER: The daughter can't have drawn the pictures on the fridge because one of them happened after her death, plus she's too old. The son can't have drawn them because he's just a baby. So who drew them?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wish the items in the inventory would have descriptions, or a way to enlarge the images. Whatever that thing is that I picked up from inside the trunk, I have no idea what it is.

Even if we don't answer, be sure that we're reading and taking notes of everything you write. Feedback is good to learn and become better game designers, so feel free to speak about the good, the bad or the ugly aspects in the game. Everything counts! Thanks for your time.

Well done game. The story is engaging and a bit vague (which is a good thing). The puzzles weren't obvious but not so challenging that I got frustrated.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not sure what to say about this game. The start makes you think your character is kidnapped, but instead you're an undead mother whose child was (apparently) killed by the father. You were dark-magically brought back to life, and took revenge on your (ex) family. You not only remembered enough of being human to do so, you even managed to raise your child from the dead, who was somehow smart enough to not only kill a man but also grab the key you needed to get out. Moral of the story? If you bring someone back from the dead, they'll still remember who they were.. and will still kill you.

Nice art. The story is ok. Some puzzles were a let down compared to the rest of the game. Lack of feedbacks or no sense at all leads to a point you end up clicking everywhere and solve puzzles by trial and error instead of logic. For example, having to drink a mug of your's mother blood in front of the mirror in order to break the mirror and find a key...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The two places I got stuck: PADLOCK- I was able to determine the numbers used, but didn't see any clues to the order (just used random combinations til it worked). GRAY KEY- Although drinking blood isn't "moon logic", I didn't see any clues/hints to tell me that I needed to get blood then drink it in front of the mirror. The graphics of the fishing pole were odd and I wasn't sure what it was at first. Maybe add a photo of the man fishing with it for a clue. Everything else was great and I liked the game.

@Bastet - I think a lot of us have actually tried that, the problem is that it doesn't seem to work. Will probably try again, though, as it's a well made game indeed. Thank you for the replies.
Sorry, it seems to be the trickiest part for many. Try this combination:
Up: blue, yellow, red.
Middle: red, blue, yellow.
down: yellow, red, blue.
Other than that, I hope you like the rest of the game :)

Can't finish because the power circuit on the ground level doesn't respond to any combination... :( for the rest pretty neat game
There's a hint in the panel at right. It shows the three different colors and a danger symbol, so... try to break it! Remember that there are cables in vertical and horizontal lines, so you must put the three colors in every horizontal and vertical direction ;)

The mini cult altar u need to place all the baby item in order which the picture next to it explain. Once finish placing the altar and damaging the circuit go the window ground floor and give the blood pacifier to the baby. Go to the second floor window and place the fishing rod and rope plus the baby to get the golden key which open the entrance door.

The padlock is 324 .Use the silver key to get the baby bottle at the kitchen, once u get the glass cup and the pacifier(second floor baby bed) dip in blood form the lady in the bathroom. Go to the mirror and drink the blood and get the key gray key which open gray crest.

Have gotten all different items, but the puzzle is so un-obvious that I can't finish. Too bad. Otherwise pretty clever game. but some form of hints or showing when you're doing something correctly would be of help.
The sign in the panel shows the three different colors and a danger symbol, so you must put every three colors in every horizontal and vertical direction.
Sorry if that part was a bit frustrating :(
There isn't an official guide, but user Wingzwonder wrote a walkthorught in the commentaries, so you can find there the part that stuck you.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the game :)
