For some reason, I keep losing my saves. It's really frustrating to have to start over again once you have a ship that can travel 40m/s and obliterate anything in its path. This is the fifth tine this has happened to me. There should be either a cloud save or a text save, that way I can make sure my files are safe.

I've been waiting YEARS for a game similar to this, still none have showed up, Please Dev. make a game based on this! Greenlight and Kickstarter is a very good way to make your game available!

Baturinsky,I noticed some changes in the Void II 0.4 file on your dev blog.It has more features now,and that is really relieving,to know that you are still working on it.To everyone else,the legend's not dead yet.

Seriously excellent game... Some feedback for the sequel... 1. Reputation with each faction based on unprovoked attacks on their ships. 2. Story line / multi-part missions which affect reputation (eg. escort fleet through 3 stations) 3. playability enhancements like buying the max of something (up to the limit of space on your craft) and weapon / craft comparisons when buying a new weapon, engine, craft repair drone etc. 4. Extra items to help out with the different style like. cloaking devices, long range scanners, maybe a quick jump drive that USES the fuel, an escape pod that has you rebuilt at the nearest station... That is all I have for now.. Really great job on the game. Best trading style game I have played on here in years!

I am having a problem. Every time I enter a station I get asked if chat.kongregate.com can store data. Wether I accept or deny, the window is still on the screen and I can't play the game.

...just to be technically realistic; jet engines don't actually work in space. They do require air to burn fuel. Also, the random generation of engines appears to be flawed compared to the other components because a completely useless 22kt, 1100MN engine will sell for more than a highly prized low weight, high thrust engine...otherwise brilliant game!!! Well done and I'm impressed!

I like the way 2 of the same item don't have exactly the same value every time. Even so, a triple jet engine shouldn't provide LESS thrust than a single jet engine at the same level.

kinda wish there was a way to convert stations to your faction and defend your stations from being converted. It'd add a bit more of an objective to the game

Awww... I'll just beat up that little 200 hp ship... hahaha... *destroys enemy ship* That was EASY!!! *exits combat mode* *sees 5 other ships chasing you* Sigh......

Excellent game with only a few minor drawbacks... the interface can be a little fiddly when trying to escort and being attacked on the map screen and it's difficult to keep track of how much you bought and sold commodities for (if it could be added in the inventory in brackets or some such that would be great! :) - Overall, good graphics, sound, gameplay, interface (but for the minor hiccup) and story; wouldn't ask for more but its also a really original open-ended game... superb :) No snakes in this ... spaceship :)

hmm found decent-good scout build...its working for now... 2x nano hypers,7k hp with 14k eu...41 m/s top speed...1.1k dps...total cost ~4.5mil...(390t weight, 610 mn thrust) it works well in assasinations and hit and runs XD

number, those repairbot numbers are per 10 seconds, they might tick once a combat session and only really matter in the 1-3 cases of repeated encounters you see in the game. you pretty much want the most DPS you can almost sustain with your energy and as much hp as you can get...the bullhorn seems to draw the best raw stats and works pretty well once you can get a good hyper engine for it, not my favorite ship but very often a 15k or so bullhorn will out-stat a 900k requiem/dragon/etc let alone a 900k bullhorn. ps: if you're having money problems do delivery missions and avoid combat, asassination contracts seem to be the balance of money/exp gain.

The game was incredibly easy in the early stages as I stacked these things: battery, massively efficient weapons >200%, and health regeneration. This made me unkillable until around Elite 8. Now I can't find better technology that I can afford, while the ships around me are vastly improving, the rare ones are sometimes one-shotting my 7k hp (low, I know) ship before my massive regeneration even makes much of a difference. I can't find sturdier ships with a decent battery to sustain my 5k dps. What do I do? I'm thinking of getting a cargo ship to run around doing collection missions until I can afford one of the 40m Cobras.
