Btw, answering your post about gameplay consisting of three quests. Well, first, there are four of random quest types:) And they cover mostof what you have in other quets. Except, may be, "collect 10 rat tails" kind. And there are also achievements, that could be considered a quests too. But nevertheless, I agree that it would be better to have more random quest types.

fighting has become way to easy now. Didn't really go out hunting, but all ships i've encouterd just got down without having to try and make every hit count. Which I had to do before the update to out dmg their repair skill

Main change is that there is much less randomness in equipment stats, and range of prices and quality is much narrower. There are several reasons for that. Mainly to make balancing enemies and stuff possible, and to make choice of equipment less trivial.

But whats the point of decreasing the enemy ships equipment if yours is reduced too... Then nothing is changed right?

Hmm, now I think about it, that stat cut was too dramatic. I think I should not cause so much inconvinience for players that are in the middle of the game. But I think it's too late to change it now. Sorry, and I'll try to keep my future changes as unintrusive to games in progress as possible.

Stat and price variation of equipment is reduced (mostly down). Enemy equipment is changed same way too. Sorry that it was so sudden and confusing.

About problems with saves - that could be caused by cookie size limitation. Void saves are rather big for flash games - dozens of KBs. Ca you increase cookies size limit (right click on flash window - second menu item from the bottom - third tab there).

Weapons/energy are not scaling enough with combat ranking. I just can't kill some, because their repair out-skill my energy.
And I can't save in the lower saves. They jsut get deleted after I restart the game

I don't want to complain too much, but there's something with the Elite 30 achievement (the last combat rating achievement): My rank was Elite 19 and should've become Elite 20, I assume? Instead, my rank has somehow dropped to Harmless and my save file is named 'undefined'.

Elite and Mostly Harmless are two new experimentsl stats. They show how much game frames passed before you reached respective ranks.

Oh, and one more (small) thing? How the heck do the 'Elite' and 'Mostly Harmless' highscores work? The lower the score, the better, right? But how do we actually lower our scores? I haven't seen it change since I became Elite while I'm Elite 15 now.

OK, so the supplier achievement requires you to transfer stuff all in ONE go, though how are we supposed to transfer 1 million tons of stuff in 1 go?? It's impossible, so please fix this!

Yeah, I experienced that problem. I discovered it was because it was the wrong port, Pimgd. You have to double check.

My biggest fear for this game is that people won't know what to do with it; there is no story whatsoever, there's no beginning or ending (yes I know, sandbox game, blablabla...) and gameplay consists, though I'm horrified I'm going to say this, solely out of the same three missions over and over again. On the plus-side, I really like the ranking system and your enemies and equipment getting stronger.

Ah, so that's why the game was fairly easy... Purple enemies are so much stronger 0.o I encountered one with 230k hp... They've also got unbelievable repair rates :O

I don't think my supplier achievement is working... Just completed a 'collect food' contract (about 10.000 tons) and the achievement says: Supplier 1 (which is collect 10.000 tons): 57 % complete.
I presume you don't have to carry it all in one go?

For some reason, there are two missions in one station. Both the missions are collecting chips to the same place. That's weird...

Speaking of which, I've been starting over each version, and this is the first time I've made it to the start of the elite danger levels ;P. That means it's new version time, yeah? *grins and teases*

For balance concerns, for those players who started with this version or started over - that one-hit-kill mission's easy to get even by accident. I think it would be difficult to reach high levels without 'just happening' to have achieved it along the way.

just go back to the top right corner with a big gun. and find a mission to kill a small ship they are still there at least when your professional rank.

Okay, you need to remove the one-shot-kill achievement. It is impossible to achieve for me now. Every single ship has at least like 4000 HP and I can't do that much damage in a single shot.

The supplier achievement is acting differently from the other multistage achievements. It is stuck, and not progressing with each finished delivery mission, only with some of them (apparently randomly)

We talk with Axil by ICQ and he help a lot reporting bugs and balance issues. For example, he was the one that noted that attack/defence are not working, so we discuseed how it would be better to fix it.

More about that supplier achievement, managed to get to complete the first level, and am checking for progress on the second level, taking only huge orders for food. The first of these missions completed and gave me 11% towards the achievement, but the next three I have done didn't affect that achievement's progress at all.

Supplier achievement needs a checkup, it lists the totals needed to provide as 10,000/100,000/1,000,000 - but it appears to be considerably higher then that. Still working on the first supplier achievement in this version, and it's way, way over 10,000 tons of stuff.

The upcoming features mentions showing the stations security levels on the map... that makes me wonder if one day we'll regret attemting to assassinate some faction's ship next to some well armed and protective station?

I'll make escort missions accepted as soon as escorted ship is near enough to destination (not necessary docked in). That should fix that.
