Under rating threshold (show) Come on!! I had two nearby yellows on my back and a dangerous group of six 20,000 HP+ machines a bit back, and they chased me ten minutes through space going at a speed at 11. None of them gave up on attacking me and I just made it alive. Not fair!! I was really running for my life with maneuvering like hell. I think opponents should give up a chase i think. And I had no allies the whole time and the area was TOO big.

Under rating threshold (show) Oh yeah, and I suggest that if you change factions, and get destroyed, you should go to one of your own bases instead of Sedco, as they are now your enemies. I don't know if turrets should be added, buggerd, as it would ruin a bit of strategy. Maybe only your factions turrets will help. And I like how the time has been changed and modified. Looks way better!

Under rating threshold (show) i'm seeing a bug where if you pick up a contract or buy something, undock, then dock back in, what you bought or contract you took is still there. so you can pick up ten of the same escorts contracts and they all follow you. don't know if this has been reported or not.

Under rating threshold (show) *laughs* I'd like to see this as an online game - but I worry that those of us who are pretty good at fighting would really affect the play of other players who are less skilled. This is an issue in any game, but given the NPC swarming tendancies too - it could get very nasty very fast.

Under rating threshold (show) If you get attacked and you don't want the fight, fly to a base and let time pass? If you fly diagonally you can outrun ships which gain on you if you are only flying straight n/s/e/w. Once you are more then about 2500 distance away from a ship, you can flee on the main screen (though if it is faster then you, it will gain on you there. The answer is to keep going back to the combat screen and diagonally flying away). If you intend to take risks, first spend your exp, then buy some really expensive stuff - the money loss through death doesn't affect your inventory, so you can safely 'invest'.

Under rating threshold (show) 2impet Thanks for kind words about the game:) In fact, that's about same as I was saying when trying to pitch this to sponsors - "It's not a gameplay for everyone, I think, but those who dig sandbox games will likely be addicted to Void" :) But I think this game still can be made much more interesting for all kind of players, even those who is not generally in this kind of game. And feedback from you guys is invaluable for it.

Under rating threshold (show) Part of the challenge with the escort contracts is these ships are less interested in following you then they are with joining in any fights nearby. Even if you are quietly flying past other ships that are fighting, your escorted train will sail away to join the fight (and they sometimes lose). This can be handled by trying to swing wide around a fight, but once your escorted people become interested in a fight, all you can do is wait for them to come back eventually, or try to help finish the kill faster.

Under rating threshold (show) 2impet: Thing is, you have to know every kind of ship and the different versions of it to be able to estimate if they are slow. At least you can be sure that little ships are fast(Usually) due to their lack in loaded items. And yes, please increase the cost of escorts! They are time consuming and a bit dangerous. I suggest increasing price and maybe making some ships seem attracted to attacking them the bigger they are and more important.

Under rating threshold (show) 2LordHylas - some suggestions to make it more pleasant to escort - When you are doing this in the game's danger level affects how fast these other ships fly, you can see which type of ship they have before you accept the mission, if they are in a type of ship that is usually slow, dont accept that one. Also, this escort award is not cumulative, it's awarded from your single long enough escort. So don't do any short ones, patrol bases on one edge of the map waiting to find one escort mission to the other side, then give that one your all one time only.

Under rating threshold (show) Saves should be compatible. At least they were for me. I think that somehow game file was corrupted while I uploaded - Kongregate said me about "unknown error" several time when I was uploading. And that corrupted game file could have corrupted saves.

Under rating threshold (show) I have to say, the escort missions are tedious. I'm always so much faster than the ships I'm escorting, I spend most the time sitting there waiting for them to catch up. They are not even remotely cost effective - you can make a lot more money just doing a bunch of delivery missions or assassination missions. The only reason I'm bothering with the escort missions is to try to get the achievement.

Under rating threshold (show) Am deeply enjoying this version. For me, starting over is not much of an issue. A lot of people may mind this, a recommendation is if your upgrade is going to conflict with saved games, possibly consider releasing it as a different version, rather then as a replacement for the current one? That would allow players who are 'attached' to their high score to continue to play that game if they wished. Some people hate starting over.

Under rating threshold (show) This fix works for me. Game is playable :) Save games appear gone, but continue is an option to start. IF you pick it, you start game out in space without a ship. Requires a reload, because you cannot bring up the start menu outside of a base, or reach a base. That's a minor problem though - we can play again :)

Under rating threshold (show) Reuploaded new version. It works on offsite, it works on three different browsers that I tried. Also, I removed auto-loading of last save at startup, so some corrupted savegame at "last save" slot will not block the game. And old version doesn't seem to work anyway. Please tell me if this is working or not.

Under rating threshold (show) Offsite, the new game version is looking good. One visual flaw spotted in the new station, switched to a 'pill' type ship, and when I am on the inventory window, the ship's image in the background is large enough it covers some of the stats at the bottom of the page. They are viewable in the other windows of the station though.

Under rating threshold (show) I cannot get to the map screen. That error message and the game freezing happens before I can do anything. Never had this happen before today, and it's not happening with the other games on Kongregate. I'll try the offsite version.

Under rating threshold (show) Version on Kong is old. You can check it by looking in map - if there are date in the bottom in the form of "d hh:mm", then it's old(working), if "d hh:mm:ss", then it's new.

In that version there are also cheats enabled - key "T" gives exp&money when on station, teleports to destination in the map mode, and kills marked enemy in the battle mode. So you can test it easily:) I have not any hangups in that version, and I have Flash Player 10 too :/
