I can fire for quite a while before batteries give out. With weapons that don't use as much energy you can easily get stable.

SHIP: Stick with Bullhorn through the game (at least for combat) it's easily the best ship. It has enough hold and integrity with insane amounts of battery so you can load on high damage weapons
WEAPONS: Screamers are probably the best combined with a Bullhorn, Blasters if you can't get high enough powered screamers. Missiles just plain suck.
ENGINE: Get the fastest you can, simple.
REPAIR DROID: Get the one with the highest repair amount, again simple.
Tactics: Accept as many "Eliminate Ship" missions as you can, fly to stations, get really close and fire
Really the only thing you should pay high prices for are the repair droids. Like other people have said, just because something is high priced doesn't mean it's better.

1) You can play Void 2 already from the description, but I think it's still in beta.
2) Bullet speed is the speed that the bullets/missiles travel from your ship.

If anyone is interested, a close approximation for speed seems to be "Boost * 20 * squareroot( Thrust / Total Weight )" Quite useful to find out if the new engine is worth it.

I'm beginning to think that the creator did not intend for the ship's weight to be included in the max weight: I've been seeing a frightening number of ships from tech 8 on that can't be used at all since they weigh more than they can carry...

It would be a good idea to make guided weapons only fire when there is a target within range so people could be a bit more flexible on loadouts. I have a few other suggestions but they are all convenient controls and balancing issues. excellent game by the way, kinda like Diablo meets starfighter.

Took a look at your Void II (Void Wars). Unfortunately, I don't have the programs needed to download it. From the descriptions, however, this is exactly the space game I've been looking for!

Guide to getting lots of xp and money:
1. Join the Golden Empire
2. Travel to the cluster of Kara-Krum, Bellyama, and Black Douglas
3. Proceed to travel in the ring between the three doing escort and package missions.
4. Use the xp to increase mission monetary gain.
5. You are now extremely rich

Great. In so many ways it was one of the best top-down space rpg games ever. Though like every game, it can use improvement. Such as events that occur, like solar storms, or pirates roaming the galaxy/quadrant. And taking over space stations, and as such you will earn a periodic income. Lastly, I want to comment about the galaxy/quadrant, for begginers. Try to trade at first. Then get more daring and start moving from home base, to other color stations, etc. By then, you should be well armed to defend yourself from pirates, and bounty hunters. Soon, you will rule the galaxy/quadrant basically.

Trading looks pretty good but the combat is horrible. Went into a fight and died simply because I was getting thrown all over the place and couldn't hit the enemies because everything was moving and my shots were lagging so badly that by the time my shot went off what I was shooting at had moved already. Other than the combat I would say this game has potential.

although i love the item system why is there a 8 milz engine that has 800 thrust next to a 110 kz engine with a thousand thrust

I wish I had an option to "link" to an escorted ship so you go the same speed as it while still moving in the fixed direction you choose without risking the map not responding and flying too far away from the ship your escorting.

Baturinsky, make it so we can make our own nation and launch wars against the others. Also, can you make it so that the player can build their own ships like capital ships and whatnot? That'd be epic as hell :D

I have a request: could you make us spawn in the middle of our faction's base instead of the top-left corner? It makes coming back very annoying...A very good space game anyway! 5/5

Great game :). I have notice something, not sure if its intended... when equiping items it appears the game counts the weight of the items twice.

This is quite honestly one of the best flash player space games ever. The random equipment stats really make it fun hunting for the best items! What I would like to see in VOID II: Multiplayer, being able to create your own corporations and space-stations and such, being able to upgrade equipment, and LOTS more enemies!

Alright...I'v been trying to find an 'Escort' contract thats over 300km distance for about 40 mins now, but yeahh any advice on which one's might give out that contract?
