I'm a bit confused here- sent some troops to a rebel village, it said it would take one hour to get there. Come back 2 hours later- where are my troops? Did I win, lose? I would like some way to see how I did because I don't think I've captured it.

the short cut training buttons don't work for me. The 25% and 50% ones do nothing. Its a minor bug that manual typing can handle but I just want to tell you guys. (: Is this just me? FIXED... that was fast, thank you.

is it just me or do the buildings get bigger when you upgrade them and training more troops actually show in your town?

@ Thebeast2222 Silver isn't necessarily a problem if your manage it wisely. In early game, you get alot of quests done, awarding silver, which is your main supply. When you run out of quests to complete, in late game, have a silver mine at a high level, becoming your main support. Clan gifts are just a top off, but if they are your primary way of acquiring silver, upgrade your mine a bit more, and put more researchers into that category.

Only complaint about this game is the gift giving, if you don't have friends who gift you then you won't get nearly as much silver as others which makes the game unfair for the people without friends.

Hi! For some reason, I cannot get this game to load, it's stuck on a blank grey screen where the game normally would be. Does anyone know how to fix this? Am I missing a plugin or something?
That's a very odd problem to have. I suggest trying a different browser. If that doesn't work, email support@realmofempires.com and they will help you out.

Yes you can! You need to build up to a Palace, and then recruit a Governor unit. Those units can capture rebel villages permanently - or other players, if you are so inclined.

1 question though why did it take me 8 hours to get to the kingdom directly to the side i could have walked there in 3 minutes.

how can kong shut down for maintenance and not stop game clock? i had 5 mins left before attacks landed when i finally logged in again. you guys need to coordinate between different providers and stop the game clock during maintenance.
disaster averted but just barely. sooo wrong to have that happen.

Today i knew what i would like to have. If i go to a village i would like to see the spy-reports for that one in order (newest first) so i can see when i last raided it - and what the last building level was.

I also had a bug that I attacked yesterday an abandoned village, but after updating the game this morning I had no reports or any clue that I attacked this village so I dont know if it happened.

Game is alright but nothing special. Reminds me a little bit of the old dungeon overlord. Would be cool, if there were more ressources then just silver. Gets a bit boring after the first week.

Actually a pretty well designed game. It's hard to find decent browser MMO strategy games these days. Reminds me of the old days!

I started playing this game on Facebook back in Realm 3. The game has become so tainted by a desire to expand greatly that the quality of the strategy is diminished. This has pushed many of the players from the beginning of the game away. I miss the old ways when strategy was the focus.
Hey Aber, nice to hear from a general from way back! Feel free to let us know what changes you weren't happy with. It's always a constant balance between innovating and trying to preserve the core experience.

No working tutorial? No information about research techs until after they're researched? Limited information from other sources? Nothing to differentiate from the zillion other games just like this? Eh, pass.

Tutorial is broken I think, can't get past upgrading the silver mine without quitting the tutorial, it's already finished but still says I need to upgrade it even after reloading :(
I have asked customer support to check the tutorial. We have been updating the game daily for the last two weeks and it's possible a new bug has popped up. Thanks!

Some of these events are totally biased on here. Their latest event is a raffle of prizes, but you have to RSVP on Facebook. That isn't fair to us Kongregate players, or anyone who does not use social media for conversating. The only Social Media site I use is Kongregate, and it is for online gaming only. Please fix the bias between the events please.

While the raffle does require going to Facebook, we don't feel that is inherently unfair. Every player has equal opportunity to have a Facebook account - even just a dummy one for contests like that. There is no purchase required, no proprietary software or downloads, etc....
The fact is that we exist on many platforms and some promotions will be a little more accessible to some players than others. But no one is being denied the chance to take part in this, it's their choice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At the same time as the event page raffle, we are also running a Throne Room promotion which has an even larger prize pool. So if you really don't want to touch FB, just focus on that one. :)

New waves of research are released in later Ages. The first batch is meant to be completed before the end of the first Age, so that all players have a chance to catch up, even ones that start later on.

Great game - However, you should have an option to mark targets on your map. Leaving a red crosshair, or a green shield or a yellow question mark would be good methods to choose which bases will die or which bases you are working on diplomacy with.
Hello DC, to take over a village you must recruit a Governor to rule it. Governor units are made at the Palace building, and require Chests (75,000 silver each) to recruit. Once you have a Governor you can send it with attacks (make sure to escort it well, they are fragile). Each time a Governor hits a target it reduces the "Yea"; once they "Yea" drops below 50 you take over the village permanently! (This is usually 3-4 hits)
Well, unless someone else attacks and tries to take it from you.

50 servants for 30 kreds isnt working. i have the kreds as well. wanted the 500 free ones for the first day of the new server. when i click on it the buy window pops up but it is empty.
