How come the moves you get during sieges is limited to three? It's really frustrating when all the enemy's units are able to attack and only a fraction of mine can respond.

You really need to work on those army battles. All you need to do to win them is use two catapults on the castle every turn. 4 turns later, battle is over, regardless of how many soldiers are killed on each side.

From reading the comments, I see that you made it easier to gain experience and money; however, I wonder if you accounted for what faster leveling would to to gaining souls. I've spent half the game being told that the enemies are too low weak to leave a soul. This is frustrating, and as a result, I've been skipping side paths hoping to find some enemies that do give souls. Please adjust the strength of enemy required to get a soul.

Ok, this is simply a bad game. It fails to inform you about what each skill does (in detail) before buying it and about how hard a fight will be before you try it. The AI is totally stupid and does things like casting silence 2 times in a row and not using their attack spell when it would kill me (I managed to win 2 fights like this in the beginning). The fights in general are extremely easy and repetitive. On some paths you have to fight the same enemy type over and over again - after the 8th time you kill that same beast creature you just wanna leave and play something else. And even different enemies don't require different tactics. I buffed spell power whenever I could and all I had to do to win ANY fight was Attack - Blood Siphon - Attack - Blood Siphon - Attack - Attack - Blood Siphon and so on. Boring! All in all I would say the game is as bad as it looks (the graphics were apparently made by a 10 year old). 2/5

soul gathering is way too slow..at least give more for bosses or have some group fights that give souls..maybe the frontline battles should give something as well..its a complete waste of time for me

Just a few things that I feel like could be fixed:
1. Status of effects, it'd be nice to see how many turns are left on all DoT and weaken effects.
2. Faster Multi-Unit Battles
3. Maybe making it so when you do Auto-Move you can just use one attack bar for all 3 attacks, otherwise it really isn't that much faster...

I really like the concept, but the game has a few flaws that caused 2/5 stars:
1.) Very repetitive - fighting the single enemies on later levels is just using your strongest skill and a potion - again and again and again and again. Either make the difficulty curve steeper or drop half the enemies
2.) Castle siege mode too slow - takes forever to capture a castle, but it is not difficult, only the animations are slow
3.) What's the point of having so much build points all around castles, when there are almost no building to choose from?

I don't really get why this series is so popular. At least with the Arkandian stuff, the slowness of everything is offset by a genuinely good game. In this, the gameplay is average at best, it's slow as crap, and the main character is just the creator's Mary Sue. It's just not good, and it's never been good, so why are these games rated past other genuinely good games?

Click you front line unit twice to assault the first castle. It took me forever to figure this out. You can literally select soldiers twice and start the assault.

Well I'm stuck. Can't assault castle at the beginning because I have only one frontline unit (haven't find stables or royal court blueprints) and every possible place checked. Started new game and the same situation.

1) It's a bit tedious later on.
2) When I got the shrine I was dealing about 13,000 damage for every round of attacks. Makes it a bit broken :/

make a 2x/3x/4x/5x speed button and/or a jump battle button because after completing the pacific isles it gets boring...

Oh, oops. Didn't realize you have to buy a skill to open up the skill tree. The game seems to be kinda fun, but the art... man! Our character looks like some ugly Son Goku in a vampire suit. Terrible!

After punching the catapult for 5 minutes and after punching the castle for another 10 minutes I finally managed to capture it. Yaaaaay.

when you attack a strong hold what the point of having a castle if theres noone to defend it it just makes the war take longer to finish.
