played this game for quite awhile. didn't finish it because it is just too damn boring after a day.
1. why did i stop absorbing souls... i was really looking forward to seeing the next sword.
2. the spells are very unbalanced. silence and regeneration are way too strong.
3. this game is extremely repetative. the many, many battles break up the story way too much
4. attacking the castle is not very well thought out. two catapults and 2 infantry is all you need, and they are first tier units.
Anyway, loved the game. These are just my thoughts.

@azoo spells and skills bar doesnt scroll. Click a slot you want to change and there should be a spinning symbol and then click the skill you want to swap with it in the skills menu.

BUG: spells and skills bar doesn't scroll or provides any other way to access more then 16 s&s. ("+" to show it the developer and other players)

I suggest first go for Death Spell. With Critical 60 greatly speeds up game killing most of common monsters from 1st blow

cool game. some suggestions though:
-reset for skill tree
-auto play for castle battles
-fix "enemy too weak to collect soul" issue at high levels
-stats page that includes buffs from buildings (cities, shrines, etc)
-spell effect remaining time countdown

Need to be able to choose which health potion it uses. I have been in battle with dragon for 30minutes cos it auto heals and it takes me too long to heal.

Siege fights: Let your catapult/dragon destroy the castle or destroy enemy units with archers and then use your ram on the castle.
Boss fights: Always keep the boss silenced all the time. Then you win.

Soul situation definitely needs to be remedied. I didn't collect a soul on the final two islands. Otherwise, fun game. 4/5.

Sometimes the AI of enemies is TOO stupid. I fought a wizard boss with 1450 magic points and he didn't used a single spell and a single magic point

After you get the catapults for battle mode, it is 95% of the time faster to destroy the castle and just let your soldiers take hits.

So, All these enemies I'm fighting that are too weak to give me souls.... Why can't I have an option to pass by them instead so I can get to the castle?

So maybe have enemy buffs expire eventually? It's pretty tough taking down a dragon that regenerates 4k hp every turn and has a shield on. More like, without grinding, it's just not going to happen unless I kill it before it gets a chance to use both of those.

you guys. If you complete the game, and do a new game +, the enemies start giving you souls again. Also, Lord Osmer has a regen spell, so every round, he regains a bunch of health after he's cast it. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR OPPONENT'S MOVES JUST AS MUCH AS YOUR OWN!

My only con is that you can't see what are effects on your charachter and enemies, for example, i've been silenced, i forgot, i tried to use skill, i died :D .

i think the tournament island should be a little more difficult or have the enemy levels scaled up for greater difficulty, because i had obtained the Ultima Armour before i battled the King and that almost made the game unplayable because of the enemies being too weak. also it would be awesome if you could improve the soul collection for the tournament. after i finished the 3rd tournament I only gained 1 soul for the entire 6-10 battles ( cant remember how many ) that i won.

Occasionally, during a battle, it will freeze, and the mana and health bars will keep going refilling, and the attack button just stays there. This has happened to me twice now, once when I tried to enter a battle, and once after I killed a man. The souls bit is a slight head-ache as well, you get to a certain point, and you can no longer gain souls. So you can only upgrade your weapon or mana or health so many times. If this was an attempt at capping upgrades, would be much easier to add a MAX to them.

Is it just me or is the battle against Lord Osmer really glitchy? Whenever I fight him, in the middle of the fight he starts to regain half his life EVERY ROUND making him pretty much impossible to defeat. Is this normal?

Collecting "souls" is impossible. By the time you get half way through the game you're too high of a level and never find souls anymore...it is really lame considering how many hundreds of fights i had to go through with no souls.

An option to speed up battle animations would be very nice, the game is rather slow and most of the non boss encounters are trivially easy.

The games mechanics are good, but the battle animations are horribly slow. Also, by the second castle, I became disgusted by the actions of my character. I don't see any reason to continue when I keep hoping that my character will fail.

ya the soul obtaining level boundaries are kinda small, im fighting the kings men at like level 30 and i dont get any souls to upgrade my sword...in next one can u just make it money like before or make the boundaries alot bigger or use a system of large-medium-small souls etc.

Just thought of an idea for the Soul System. Make it so you need a certain streingth of soul as you level up; that way, it would sync with the current system. But rather than having all of the "trash" souls get "thrown away", instead have it be so you can still get their soul, but it is not as strong as you would like. For example, if you kill a guy who is just barely under the limit of soulsucking right now, you could get .7 or .8 of a soul, and if you take a fully-leveled endgame guy back to hunt goblins, you would get .01 souls every kill. They still HAVE souls, and it does not follow logically that you would get worse at taking souls the stronger you get. It could make sense, however, that a soul has different quality depending on how strong the body was; the Mind and the Body are linked, why not the Soul?

instead of an auto battle feature for the castles how about you either destroy the castle or destroy the forces because when they cant defend themselves theres no point. like wise with the no castle thingy... yeah...

Yuck. Even the bosses are too weak for me to collect their soul. I'm sorry to be so critical, but these sorts of things spoil the fun a lot and they're so easy to fix.

Very good game :) but the souls.... i understand make em hard but theres 4 upgradeable features, you could make it a little easy (2-5 souls for bosses maybe?) or low the amount needed for upgrades. One other thing the too high of a lvl to collect was a good idea till you do Turnaments then your completely screwed over, I lvled 4 times on the 3 Battles at lvl 38, and am so far past the lvls of the area i cant collect anymore souls...

wow game breaking glitch... chose for my tower to attack castle then my healer to heal it... then game froze... uhm yeah thats cool i guess... -_-
