I love how you have to do completely different things and talk to different people depending on which path you choose at the beginning. It was like 4 games in 1.

You have to move the boxes to stealth past the girl when stealing the blue dress. And make sure you allow third party cookies from sites you are not visiting to resolve the insecure operations error message.

This is VERY frustrating. I have the blue dress, I hide in the shadows, but the SECOND I emerge, I get caught and have to put the damn thing back. HOW am I supposed to get past the people guarding the clothes if I can't move anywhere!?

Well the "game" portion of this was a bit tedious since it was so easy, but I liked the idea of wandering through the same areas and character in four different ways. And I've really liked the developer's other games, including his Steam game.
Hi, thanks. I'm sorry it was too easy. It's hard to please everyone - a lot of people hate the game when they find it too difficult. And of course, some are more skilled at puzzles and adventure games than others.

Detail that threw me for a while about the blue "doormat" tablet - once the guy has seen you try to hide, you can't hide until you move away and back again. (I moved north then south then was able to hide).
I just checked again and I could hide after being spotted without moving. The key detail is that you can only hide when the guard is facing downwards, i.e. not looking at you.

It's nice to see a game maker well interested in expanding the Lore, and advertising their own game with free mini-games. Keep up the lore work, and one day even make a lore-pedia (or have a fan made wikia with the Lore, that usually works too). Looking forward to more.

Well I reviewed quite a few issues I have with the plot...but it's too long for the comment so the comment is in the link below:

Hi, interesting questions :) You can read the answers to all of them here..........................: https://textsaver.flap.tv/lists/22gg ..................................
This should be a good read for anyone who's interested more deeply in the lore of Nebezem.
(Note: I corrected the main hero's name in your questions where you accidentally referred to him as Magnus, instead of Marcus.)

I guess I'm not smart enough to find another combination of flowers that works. I zoomed in on my screenshot and all the flowers are touching for whatever that is worth.
Have a look at the walkthrough here:
https://moshimushi.net/2018/06/28/tales-of-nebezem-four-fates-ending-4-join-praxipolis-walkthrough/ -- you can see a picture of the solution to the flower puzzle there.

Well, I enjoyed it and finished all the four endings but it would be much more appreciable without all of these boring "Loading files..." taking too long and even crashing with error too often.
Moreover, it seems to have many more possibilities with blocked areas and people to interract with. I hope new release !

Trying to join the Pyromilites, I completed the quest for the ring early on only to realize that I needed better armor before it would do me any good. Fido said not to leave the village with the ring, so I dutifully returned it before leaving to search. Now I have good enough armor, but Fido won't let me borrow the ring again and I see no way to continue.
Fido asks you if you're done using the ring, and the game prompts you to confirm - if you do, you can't get the ring back. On the other hand, if you leave the village with the ring, Fido takes it back from you, but is willing to let you borrow it again. I'll probably change how this works, but as of now, you have to start over - sorry about that. But it shouldn't take you long, since you aparently only killed your first shade so far.

"...that's the code, i.e. the number of red flowers (first digit), the number of cacti (second digit), and the number of signs (third digit) - in the whole village...": i count 5, 3 and 9 (but the ones in the mage tower makes them 6, 4, 10... none are correct?
You must have missed a red flower, there's one more out there somewhere :) And the ones in the mage tower don't count, they're just pictures the old magus put there to remember the code.

I beat all 4 endings. The prison was a bit confusing in #2 since you couldnt interact with the door at all. I just wish there was some kind of bonus for finishing all 4

So, is there an actual ETHICAL path? Actually fulfilling your responsibilities and saving the chief without trying to assume power yourself, betray your village, or be manipulated into an assassination? Because, seriously, I'm running out of people to talk to - I think I've stalled out the main story at the first possible branch because I refuse to be an asshole.
Well the path where you're asked to assassinate the Pyromiles primus is quite ethical, because the Pyromilites are actually assholes, trying to subdue all the other clans in the region. They're also the most prone to having plans for world domination. So in that path, you weaken the "evil" forces in the region and you strengthen your clan by allying it with a stronger clan (the Veraces). Another ethical path begins with speaking to the general in Praxipolis - you will agree to join their army, but that will save your chief as well as your clan, so it's the most "heroic" choice - you save your folk by sacrificing yourself for the greater good.

I got ending 1, 3, and 4, but when I restarted my game again the music disappeared for a minute or two, then came back. Figured I should mention it

sorry for the multiple comments. The stupid chat tool they use here does not allow edits, screenshots, etc. Here is a link to a screenshot to the flower thing: http://prntscr.com/k6aq74
Hey, you almost got it - except the pot in the bottom-right corner has one flower pointing down, outside the field, so that one is not touching anything. And also the middle pot in the top row of blue pots has a flower pointing up, not connected to another blue flower. You have to rearrange then a bit more.

@Beranek also I odn't know if it's a bug or I am doing something wrong. I appear to have solved the flower puzzle - all of the same color are touching. The game is saying that he's not satisfied though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@beranek Onething that bugs me. In the beginning of the game there is no route to proceed without seeming to be disloyal in one way or another
Allying with the Veraces is the most "purely" loyal path. Joining Praxipolis is also relatively loyal - you will leave your clan to join the army, but in doing so, you will save your chief as well as the clan. Then there's a path where you basically stay loyal to the clan, but not the chief. And lastly, there's a path of complete betrayal. I hope I haven't spoilt too much here :D

its a good game, but there are massive data leaks or something, because 1/3 of the time i spend actually playing i deal with a frozen screen
Hi, it's made in an engine, so it's not something I can directly affect. But on the whole, this is a problem with WebGL games, they can hardly be fine-tuned for all browsers. Most players don't have performance issues, I guess it's heavily browser-dependent. 90% of the bug reports I get are from players with obscure browsers.

UGGGHHHH it took me over 2 hours to finish the gem puzzle, with all the tablets and stuff to get the 2 blue whatever, UGH I LOVE THE GAME BUT I HATE THAT PUZZLE

I kind of wish there was an ending where the antidote appears on the altar but I guess I'll settle for it being an important hint for the bad ending.

I love how this has 4 different endings, allowing for a bit of replayability. It's interesting to see the different ways you interact with people based on the route you're on, and the different ways you can die. I wish you were able to look at more of the environment, though, even if it isn't relevant to the quest. Overall a lovely game.
It's a depiction of a fantasy nation which is very patriarchical. There have been many such nations even in our real history. There are other nations in this fantasy world, one of them is matriarchical during a long period in history.

I counted the objects in the earth town, but the code isn't working. Clearly either I'm doing something wrong, or the code is borked.
Hey, it's a three digit code, and according to the pictures above the chest, the first digit is the number of red flowers, the second is the number of cacti, and the last one is the number of signs. All in all in three locations (workers' area, warriors' area, and the quarry). What do you mean by "earth town"? :)

Abandon your clan, become a total meany, kill everyone who likes you, live a glorois life with some nagging backthoughts. Listen to your mother, die a lonely death. Uhm, ... interesting.
Do you mean you can't find it? Look in the houses in the village of the Veraces. You will either see it on the floor or you will have to talk to a girl, depending on which "fate" you're playing now.
It's quite simple, stand on one of the tiles with "holes" (at the top of the grid), open your inventory (press I or click the icon), and select the tablet that matches the shape.

Really enjoying the game but I'm stuck trying to kill the guard when escaping from prison. He has 4 life bars and I have only 3, so he kills me every time. Any advice?
Hi, look around the prison for a way to create enough shadow so that you can attack the guard while you're hidden. Attacking first and dealing an extra blow from the shadow will give you the advantage you need.

Count the object... i tried several things already and its just plain out annoying... is every single book a item. every pebble? every scrolle? every binder?... this sort of crap just ruins the game.
Oh no, that would be ridiculous :D You see the three pictures above the chest - that's the code, i.e. the number of red flowers (first digit), the number of cacti (second digit), and the number of signs (third digit) - in the whole village. If you don't want to solve this, just PM me.

Hi, I suggest you change the names of the characters to fit the culture and world. It kinda seems off for people of that time and origin to all have modern English names.
Hi, this is a fantasy world with several nations, each nation is inspired by (not copied literally) real world nations. This particular nation lives in the desert and speaks Latin (originally Greek). That's why they say "Salutem", "Fortem" and "Valentem" for greetings. Those names are not English, they're all Latin. (Praxipolis, being an older settlement, is named in Greek). But in the end, they are fantasy characters, some of them even have red, yellow or purple eyes. ;)

Hey, well done on making this game! I'm an Arab, and seeing this game which is set in the cultural landscape that my ancestors lived (I live in America) in is much appreciated. However, I do not know if you have done this, I advise that you do lots of research concerning your game so you do not misrepresent or stereotype anything for your final game on Steam. Again, I enjoyed the game, and it seems that you have poured all of your imagination with diligence into this intellectual work. I hope the best for, and don't fret the outcomes.

On what planet is this game only averaged at 4 stars? It's one of the best I've played of its kind, and has a lot of originality, and I have never seen such care given to players from a developer.
If this game ain't your bag, so be it, but rate it for it being awesome for THIS sort of game.

Tip: If your health won't go back to max after 1st fight go to brothel, it or talking to girl there should do the trick
I don't know how that would help. You're injured after a fight, naturally, and there are plenty of healing herbs found in most locations, green leafy things - using them refills your HP.

When you steal clothes from the pyromiles, and you hide in the shadows, do you need any other item or do you just have to wait until she looks the other way or something to get out?
You just need enough shadow to stay hidden all the way out of the laundry room. There are things in the laundry room that will help you create more shadow ;)
