I really wish that I knew why none of the stats are maxed out at top level. It's odd to me, unless I'm missing something for all the medals. I only have two more to get. (Ps, Lachhh's medal is for pausing and sitting for about a minute.)

My favorite combination and the order I get them in: Level 4 flag, Level 2 ship, Level 3 flag, Level 3 ship, Level 4 gun, Level 4 ship, Level 2 flag, Level 5 ship, Level 2 Fire rate. Why? Because if you get the 4 and 3 flags right off the bat, you get a level 3 weapon, good fire rate, good ship speed and magnetism, and the level 3 Loot stat ensures even the negligible great white sharks (the big fins) will drop at least one gold coin each. The level 2 flag is still great for the money, but by the time you have three upgrade slots on your ship, you'll want the massive firepower of the level 4 gun to get things done. Finally, the level 2 flag tops off your gun, as well as boosting fire rate, loot quality and magnetism, and the level 2 fire rate at the very end tops off your fire rate for mad slaughter. Good luck!

bug: when you stand over the first boss as it explodes, all the money+extra life u get disappears and you get nothing! :O

@66664444: yes, you can. However, honestly, it's faster to just get used to the pattern, and just duck behind them when they expand to hammer away on the sub instead. You might kill an eyeball or three during the fight just as collateral damage, but they just take too much effort to kill on purpose.

So is the shop stationed on the ship and managed by a stowaway or is there some shop-ship that only comes in whilst pausing?

how come a can buy cannons, chests full of gold, flags but i cant buy anchors? eyt i can find them floating out at sea

@Elfsiege: The flags don't augment your other gear, they're complete weapons/magnets/shipspeed/lootbonuses/etc in and of themselves. The first time I beat Thunder, I just used the top three flags together. Honestly, as a tip to everyone, your best value per dollar once you get access to the level 2 or 3 flags is to just buy flags immediately, starting with the costliest one you can afford. Starting the gam with a level 3 flag, then buying a new ship and adding the level 2 flag, then buying another ship and adding the level 1 flag, for instance, really gets things done.

Eh..... it was ok but i hated how much it cost to put on just a few things, i mean really? i beat a boss and i didnt have enough to upgrade to level 3 still. Maybe its that we're in the modern age and i myself thing that if you make a shooter it needs something hybrided onto it..... ah well. Either way this didnt impress me.

I'm unsure if this has been mentioned yet, but it is possible through a *slight* exploit to max your ship's stats by purchasing the final flag upgrade multiple times. By purchasing the final flag upgrade, then the final loot/magnet upgrade one may notice it immediately presents you with the option to again purchase the final flag upgrade. This can be repeated to have max stats (when combined with the final gun upgrade). Hope this helps someone. I was able to get over 50,000 points with that ship in one (before growing rather bored as it's nearly impossible to die) go after figuring that out.

Berzerk always has the best games... which is good, because they always make me sh*t my pants when i forget to turn off the sound on my computer...
