@littlegrim, first of all, they aren't lives cuz you don't have to restart every time you get hit. second, you only get 2 HP (hitpoints or healthpoints whatever suits you) at the start, buy better shields to get more HP.

The gun I used for the whole game was the raptor. I tried out several much more expensive ones and none of them killed faster/worked better.

A lot of the problems I'm reading about can be solved fairly easily.
1) Enemies shoot through walls and you can't: Stand close to the walls and you can shoot the enemy through them, or just use the laser (best gun in my opinion)
2) Game freezes and the character just stands there: I had this problem too, but I figured out it was because I was clicking off of the game screen, once I became more aware of where my cursor was I never had this problem again.
3) hold down the shooting button to automatically fire weapon instead of clicking repeatedly: Buy an auto fire gun, that is why they are there.
4) Can't farm gold on levels but can farm xp: You can farm gold on levels, once I beat the main story I went back and farmed to buy all the gear.
Hope this clears up some problems with the game

Seems to be some gun imbalance. I bought a gun for like $1200 and it killed everything in one blast. I later bought one for something like $2500 or 2800 and it took over half the clip to kill a single guy so I swapped back to the cheap one. It would be nice if when you accidentally click out of the screen that is froze the game since that happened several times and each time I got shot. So far I through world 2 and both bosses were insanely easy, might want to make them more of a challenge. I also don't see that I'll ever have enough money to buy the top items without repeating maps I've beaten which is a bit lame as I've beat them all on the first try and have no other reason to repeat them. Other then those things it was fun and the controls were solid

Also, the XP booster is completely useless on the shields once you level up, but I had nowhere near a decent xp boosting shield when I maxed out.

I didn't really replay any levels and maxed out my level in world 2-4. This felt like it was a little too early. Also, The final "skill" was really disappointing, as I rarely used the one I had to being with. Other than that, decent upgrade system and gun selection (if not a little expensive) Great game, 4/5

@ Spudder19: Actually I'm playing it on a laptop right now with just my touch pad. It's not optimal, but I'm used to it by now having gamed with it for a while now.

the story was so bad, that it was actually funny, a lot of weapons to choose from, challenging stages, and very addicting. The only two problems were: needs an auto-shooting thing instead of clicking every time and enemies shoots through walls that i can't D:. Nicely done! 5\5

This game is alot like Super Mario Bros. and thats a bad thing.... They both have stupid AIs and 'worlds'... This story is not humorous or exciting. This is incredibly easy until 3-6, Enemies can shoot through things that i can't and walls? If they block a person i am pretty sure they stop bullets/lasers as well... Poorly made. Can't believe its on the front page 1/5

You have a perfect design for a platform game with just the right amount of challenge/reward to keep players interested from start to finish! The music/graphic polish is professional too! Great work!

What really makes me tear my hair out is the fact that the loot is always bouncing away from me, and to get at it, I have to chase after it, where another mob of mooks is ready to fire away. The time to collect my reward is always postponed to kill some more enemies, increasing the amount of uncollected loot which has to wait while I kill more enemies, etc. It gets so bad that I'm actually glad I don't have anything to shoot at anymore for a while. Frankly, the sheer number of enemies packed together in such a small space, with no breaks in between, makes gameplay become tedious quickly. It would be much better if the levels were stretched out and waves of enemies could be separated by empty or mostly empty areas. The space between enemy lines could then give you a chance to collect your loot, and give you some designated time to cool down, before you go right back to the action.

Decent game...but definitely not a great game. Without replaying any levels, I was maximum level by the time I finished world 1, making exp pointless for most of the game. The enemies are just too repetitive. Changing the color does not make a new enemy.

While this game is simple and quite similar to many jump&shoot games this game has something others struggle to. Which is giving the player the choice of deciding the pace at which he wants to play each level. You can walk slowly ahead taking careful aim killing one at a time or jump around like a high tech ninja shooting in every possible direction feeling like a gunslinger god with your triple shot aim. 3-4/5 gets a bit repetitive especially when money grinding.
