Wow this game is amazing!!! i understand if you are low at resources... but each enemy appears in 4 diffrent colors... there are 2 weapons for each bullet type and the game is hell boring! -1000/5

Perfect platforming. Running, jumping and gunning are smooth as silk and the visuals are very good. I really like the different projectile effects - makes it quite an experience to gain new weapons. Some smaller gripes(nothing major really): The special effects in the shop could have been presented a tad neater - like different icons with tooltips or the same Western font used for the rest of the text. Difficulty would have been a nice option. I really only had to grind the last level of the game. The last two guns feel kinda underpowered for their pricetag. I stuck to Chaos once I got it because the recoil never EVER worked anywhere near like what I expected. Keep it up Berserkers - This one rivals retail XboxArcade titels like Shank.

the last few levels are too hard compared to teh rest of teh game.the whole game is easy untill the last 2 levels.now im stuck at teh very last level before even reaching the boss but at all other levels i could easely get all stars in one run and not even get close to dying.

90% of the exp and money comes from finishing levels; the in-level gains are ridiculously low. Makes it pretty boring.

games dont have to have amazing plots, be super hard and challenging. They dont even need amazing graphics. Games just need to be entertaining. And not everyone might view it that way but i like this game =] 5/5

Easy. Very easy. TOO EASY. It's just going forward with shotguns, shooting around and getting stars. Not worth playing...

All achievements unlocked =D Thank you for a GREAT game =D I love the simplicity of the game. No bullshit, just go through the level, kill stuff and collect start and money. Superb gameplay! Berzerk did it again!

Fun, but the level cap needs raising BIG time. Id maxed out half way through the 2nd world, at the ed of world 2 now and really cant be bothered carrying on. Its gotten too boring.
I cant rate 5* for the concept. Cant rate 5* on music as it repeats ooooover and oooooover again. Gameplay is repetitive. Level cap as mentioned it too low. Stars are pointless. Theres no story at all. For anyone reading this, if you wanna kill 5-10 minutes, give this a go, otherwise dont bother, youll be left feelin like youve achieved nothing.

@ giggity95, stars get you a cash bonus. @ Xen0cide42: try clicking in the flash box. About the avenger: it has a power rating of 1 but it deals many low-damage shots per blast, the farther away the enemy is the more shots they take. I like this game a fair bit, nonsense story is fun and the upgrades are good. Perhaps the prices could be tweaked a bit, getting the ready for action achievement is quite the pain...oh, and the laser/spear SFX is a bit loud, although that can be reduced from the options menu. Other than that, a very nice game to waste my time on :)

I enjoyed the side-scrolling shooter aspect of it. Simple controls make it easy to really get good at. The story.. well what story? who cares? That didn't bother me, most people don't read them anyways. we're here to play a simple free shooter, not a Final Fantasy game. Other then the achievement at the end for collecting them all the stars they were pretty dumb. Should make some accessory or something purchasable with them. People complaining it's been done before should go play something else then. I liked it for the fact you can jump right in it with very little learning curve. Smooth game play, no BS, simple, fun, 4/5.

Look, ims orry but its not that great. People are over glorifying something thats honestly just average. Maybe Im missing the point, but the fact that it doest try to be anything else some what destroys it. I mean, its a generic game, its got its moments, but overall it gets boring fast, the graphics arent that great, some glitches in the actual view, and the fact that it gives no explaination to anything just makes this a bellow average game. Why do i want these stars, anyway? Is there some special area? They arent even that well hidden. Berzerk, you've made good games before, but you tanked this one. 2/5.

one of the best platforming shooters ive played. I hope they make another or expand on this one. Great music, awesome storyline.

a checkpoint in the last level would be very nice... i hate taking all that time to pass through the level and then die in the boss and have to do everything again

As others have said, plz make a feature so that you auto-pause when you click off the screen. It would be really useful.

@jq2121 diamonds items are a special kind of item you can only afford with, well, diamonds. It doesn't seem to be any here, but try "Homerun in Berserk land" and you will understand.
