I'm a little disgusted about them waiting for the game to be popular and high-rated enough for it to get badges to implement the pay-for-with-real-money content so it wouldn't get downrated before getting front-paged. =/

Might I inquire how to receive the Powering Up Badge? I played the game before it had badges, and am unable to figure out how to get it now...

One of the most fun platformers\shooters I've played in quite some time. Not many have the ability to hook me quite like this one did. Good work.

fun game, not enough character levels
got the first gem gun at the end of chapter 2 - it is totally OP, the last boss took about 3 reloads

I played through the entire game, didn't even know there was a "shield" and "premium" shop.
Needless to say you learn not to get hit very fast.

now...I didn't grind till I finished the game for the "all items" achivement and I got all the stars...stop whinning and learn to play...sheeeesh

I guess it's ok. I expect this kind of thing from Berzerk Studios, frankly: well packaged but somehow doesn't quite feel right to play. The play area is pretty small, for one thing.... what with creating space for yourself to kill the 5 or 6 bad guys who often appearing at the same time, and looking for coins which quickly fly off screen, you end up feckling about a lot rather than getting a smooth feeling of progression.

Lagging started third level before end. Got much, MUCH worse on the final level. Not worth the trouble to finish.
I appreciate the humor, this game has a lot going for it, but performance needs to be uniform.

I agree: the flying enemies shouldn't be able to fly through very, very thick walls, and shooting through platforms should be more clearly defined. That said, the maneuverability of the GunBot is to die for!

It's a little annoying how the enemies can shoot through platform corners, and the playable character cannot. That aside, this game is extremely well made, is a great mix of platformer and point/click shooter, and has a perfect increase of difficulty as it progresses. 5 out of 5 :D

I have calmed down from beating a few more levels now... and i am now under the opinion that it has flaws (Difficulty ramp-up speed, collision detection) but it can be beaten, you just need to grind about 10 times to beat it.

My only complaint is that the laser weapons (Avenger, Chaos, and the premium Executor) are a bit game-breaking. I most likely could've gone through the final level with Avenger, which costs $1600. I opted for Chaos, which is fairly-priced at $5000 but the only real difference in performance was clip size. Even though the Avenger rates at 1 damage, it still kills pretty much everything except blue and some purple monsters in a single hit.

if money dropped down to water/lava, all you have to do is point gun way up, double jump, then lower your gun and you see the money bounces towards you, and you should be able to get it after a few jump. or if you are daring or if you got mad skillz, you could drop down a bit, then jump on air to land on a platform.
wish the extra exp past max lvl could do something, aka award you more money if your exp reached a new lvl or something, 'cause money is really hard to come by, and your last gun kinda sux, so you kinda need that buy-all-things-achievement to get a decent premium gun, aka, the 400 one.

Disabling the AI when the enemy is offscreen was bold, but together with the mouse-look mode and bad position detection (center instead of the full bounds? really?) it made enemies suddenly appear as you try to aim and shoot stuff.

I am overall pleased with this game. It has nice gameplay with few flaws. A couple of the flaws I noticed that could improve the game are, the fact that you cant hit an enemy out of your screen, some of the hits on enemies or yourself dont register. Also to make the game more fun you should allow the players to buy any item at any time instead of unlocking the stronger ones when you buy a weaker one, and finally allowing the upgrading of the guns and character by personal skills. These are all simple changes that could alter the type of game you were going for though, so this is entirely my opinion and great game!

There must be something wrong with me, i cant beat lvl 1-4... but it is till a great game 4.5/5 (because I'm just stupid and cant beat lvl 1-4)

LoL when I switch from this game on firefox to other things on my computer my guy goes invisible it's super hard when you can't see where you are.

I noticed that they changed the picture on the easy badge and changed it to "reach character level 3 to unlock fire fury". Instead of "reach character level 3 to unlock double jump".

4/5 because of the horrible, horrible collision detection. Enemy's shots go trough any wall, my character randomly fails to jump trough platforms, my hitbox is ridiculously large and only the center point of my bullets counts (even those with huge energy balls).

I feel that it's a waste of Kreds just to buy a gun,but if a major game like Elements used Kreds for card that'd be more logical.

Who else here tried this on a laptop and epically failed due to not being able to move and shoot easily at the same time lol :)

If you fulfilled the requirements for the badges before the badges were made, play a level. You should be rewarded the badges upon completion.
