Bambo, you couldn't have played the original NES version -- or its sequel -- in that case, as there are a great many similarities to both to be found in here. And it's somebody's independently produced flash game, not a major Nintendo release.

Yeah i like the length for a flash game, always thought most were to short. But it is JUST like LoZ:LttP. Thats fine though. gets hard when you go into the next world

eh, its ot really like zelda at all. there are no puzzles. flip a switch and it opens the door, but thats it. you just go around killing enemies. 3/5

o thank god it auto saves... ive played for about 6 hours striaght now and im tired of dieing repetitively one the first castle after he sends u back... but the game is epic... never played a flash game for so long... 5/5

so... after playing this for a while, it bugged right after the rock dude w/ the annoying laugh was defeated. the keys work. the thing is, the guy just stays in the same spot.

Just like in Zelda 2, when you level up your Life or Magic power, you make those bars more efficient, not longer.
I would love to give this game a 5/5, but there are some major frame rate issues. Sometimes the game is too fast, sometimes it is completely unresponsive. Not to mention epileptic seizures on the title screen.

I like it but a couple of things rubbed me the wrong way. 1) the boomeraxe? Annoying that it does (or at least doesn't look like) it cause ANY damage when used at close range. 2) damage is WAY too random. Took everywhere from 1-100 points of damage from the SAME enemy with the SAME armor. And 3) movement seems kinda slow. Maybe a "run" option.

Its a great game, love it since its just like zelda. Only thing is after 5 hours of play i am continually getting the black screen bug where it just shows a black screen after moving into a new area. Wish I could finish the game lol

I run Mozilla and get the black screen of death whenever I try and play, anyone running Mozilla not having that problem? Those of you that it is working for, what are you running?

xXJouninXx: Because Link is a kid in most of the games, and if he was an adult would you ask: "Why does the main character have to be an adult?"? That makes no sense.

Meh, I hate the black screen bug, and the monsters sometimes walk through the walls, that's strange. :P Apart from that the game is pretty fun and pretty epic, I'm enjoying it A LOT, since I love Zelda and RPG and stuff like that, awesome concept, great execution and nice graphics/sounds. 5/5 and favorited! :D

The loading is fine for me, and so far no real bugs to speak of. Overall a solid game that is incredibly enjoyable... Great Game. 5/5

Immediately upon the intro finishing, the screen moves to one showing the life bars and whatnot up the top, but otherwise totally black. Keys are unresponsive.
This occurred on my first attempt to play. I refreshed. Same problem. Made new character. Same problem. Refreshed a few more times. Same problem.
By the sounds of things there are some nasty bugs around.
Not rated; and will remain so until I can actually play!

Haha, the intro story is pretty funny.
The game itself brings back memories of a few games I've played on Sega Genesis.
Also, the hero's face looks a bit like kid Goku! XD

The black screen bug is really annoying. I've beaten the first boss twice now because of it and gotten the stupid cookie four times I think since the death of the boss finally registered but me getting the cookie hasn't. Going to refresh again to see if I have the cookie doubt it though.

you did great job on this. i just wished you had brought more of your stuffs like the axe-merang, and make dungeons less boring.excluding these two points, 5/5.

Well, just to point out, after restarting, I walked back to the boss and beat it again (getting the XP again), and this time got out without it freezing, but I think the view is zoomed in farther than when I started.
