what are the rank/star requirements for side missions? ive tried speed, kills, all buildings, etc but it doesn't make a difference

Even the hard badge was easy. Good game though. Would like to see a little more variety, but that's just a suggestion, not a complaint.

Thanks Anomie for the ownage survival strategy. I got to wave 56 with 300/335HP before I got bored. Loadout was Big Laser, Energy Cell, Heavy White Cockpit , Repair Droid, and Heavy White Legs.

Getting all the survival badges is pretty easy- Equip the shield, big laser cannon, repair droid, decently fast legs, and the heaviest cockpit you can. Use the shield often, kill stuff, try not to get hit when shield isn't up (I ran circles around the tanks.). You should make it to wave 30 with ease, getting you the six medals for survival, +1 for killing 500 guys.

most of the stars on the side missions are related to how many other things you destroy. Ex - if you only collect all the intel you will get 0 stars, but if you destroy all the buildings, soldiers, etc you will get 3 stars

The foregoer has been one of my faves since Ralph, the traitor there, called me a "little rat", when I had beaten him. Made me so damn proud ;) ++++ Gaining life for killed enemies is ingenious! So far, it got me to wave 13 in survival, and I've still a lot of stuff to aquire. Hope that it will help in the missions as well. ++++ Great game!

@Leomesmo: Impossible? There are 35 badges which are nothing but grinding, most of which you will get in simply finishing the game. There are 5 more that are trivial to get as side actions. Getting 9 for stars is also trivial, as well as 4 for a survival run. That gets you down to just needing 7 which are of more than minimal difficulty.

runbunn, you use space to use the shoulder weapon. and cman95, you have to disarm ur primary weapon by clicking on the weapon you currently have on in the hangar

Needs customizable controls. Or for the /right/ shift key to be able to fire secondary weapons. Would be a great game, but I'm not going to try to juggle the arrow keys and the space bar when one hand is always kept on the mouse.
