I just died - against the boss after spending many minutes on this level - because a badge announcement popped up on top of my mech and I couldn't see the incoming fire. That, folks, is such ridiculously bad design it's unforgivable. **** this game, goodbye.

I found the perfect way to get the roadkiller +bull's eye + pyrotechnics medals all in 1 level all you need is to equip the rail legs(any color) no main weapon and the nuke shoulder weapon then go to the first mission and that preaty much garenties that you can get all of them in 1 level.

For shoulder weapons only, you have to have the main weapon slot unequipped. And for all side quests, I have a feeling you missed one somewhere. I got both without issues.

I'm annoyed that it's ignoring some of my medals. I did the "shoulder weapons only" on several levels, and it won't acknowledge it. Same with "complete all side quests".

There's a major problem with the overlays containing mech information and pilot comments when calling in nukes; quite often, especially in boss fights, they conceal you, meaning you're unable to see your exact position when calling down support fire, if you're in that corner. Since the boss occupy the right half of the screen, and the pilot appears in lower left, and mech info is in upper left, this means there's not much room to navigate if you want to be able to see where you're going.

@Timmeyz - there are 12 extra medals. And not all of them are going to be easy. Like "play for ten hours" - are you kidding? Or kill 15,000 enemies. Or finish the boss run without taking damage... etc.

How come I can never get the medal for completing a level using only shoulder weapons? I have tried almost every weapon and tried them on different levels.

It has nothing to do with getting 500 kills. While it is still vague in its description, it actually means lose 500 life. You have to take a total of 500 damage in a level, so unless you level up a lot, you will probably have to heal some too.

The loose [sic] 500 lives description contains 2 errors. It's lose, not loose, and they mean 'make 500 kills', not 'get killed 500 times'. Do well in survival, and you'll get hard-boiled too.
After leaving it on to get the silly long gameplay medal, I got 60:

4/5 the only problem is i dont get gold star on soem after doing everything right and iv got them before and some of the equiptment is pretty crapy order but one thing i love is the color order of the side and primary missons graphics effects and so forth

Rated it a three after first two missions... Changed it to a four once I saw all of the additional side-missions and challenges... Great game!
