A good game, apparently designed to be as user-unfriendly as possible. The completely opaque ranking requirements for missions, the lack of things like a kill counter or timer, and the HUD (dialogue boxes included) blocking a portion of the play area add up to a frustrating experience that could have been avoided. The game was also extremely laggy for me, where even more intense flash games usually aren't, making some achievements simply unfeasable. The lack of ability to skip cutscenes when you're replaying a level is the icing on the cake. A smoldering trainwreck that could have been great.

To people with shoulder weapon problems: you have to unequip your shoulder weapon in the hangar, its not enough to simply not use your main weapon

Bug report, when using artillery strike, if you accidentally see the miniboss, you'll magically warp to a different part of the map and screw up the level.

for the people who cant get the shoulder weapon medal, you have to physically take off your main weapon by clicking on the one you currently have equipped in the hangar. keeping it on and just not using it doesnt work.

How do you get a bronze in the final defense mission? I have just tried it for the 35th time, and I still can't get a bronze.

I'm seeing a lot of people who can't figure out how to kill with the rails. Killing with the rails means running them over with the tank like legs, the ones that can hold the biggest load!

does the shoulder weapon medal work? i have beat a few different levels with the shoulder weapon only. or do you have to complete all types of levels for a set of levels: like the side missions in addition to the regular mission (not to be confused with side objectives on a mission) also: kill 25 enemy infantry units with the rails? pretty sure that's standing behind some barricade and killing them over a wall?

On a lot of levels, it's more about killing every single thing (units AND buildings) to get the gold, rather than time

Enjoyed the game and the 60 medal requirement wasn't anywhere near as annoying as the last achievement on Mechanical Commando 1.

Give us an in-game minimap, make the plot a little better (it just feels weak in some areas) and we'd have a perfect game. As it stands, it's only near-perfect.

@retrowens you must really suck at playing games if you think this is too hard to beat. i agree it was a challenge but not too hard. i do think the time stars are dumb though because i beat the first level as fast as i could with spider legs and still only bronze.... but still 5/5.

@bluehook : doesn't matter if you're hit. go fast and don't miss a single target. Try spider legs + homing cluster + auto-cannon (or laser on some levels) + azote stuff

Agree with previous comments. Some of the medals don't seem to register properly.. especially the intell and destory medals. NO matter how fast, or least amount of times you get shot you dont seem to get more than bronze (sometimes silver) ive got nothing on intel

A bad glitch:
Just before finishing a level, activate the Artillary secondary weapon. When you are back at the level select screen, switch secondary weapons and start a level. Now you won't be able to see, shoot, or be shot in any level. Oops. Sucks for me.
