Could use a bit of work but this is a really good game, loved it 5/5
I've completed half of the badges for this but it hasn't registered, can anyone help?

Too difficult! Generally ok, but I can't possibly make it through the second mission, what's up with that?
Add Difficulty levels.

I agree with wadark. getting the time bonuses seems virtually impossible because it is not clear what it is based on. Love the game, gfx could do with a little tweeking as is blocky at times and try enlarging the playing area so that the player dosen't see the surrounding black tiles as the player moves towards the side of the play area. love the massive explosions but the blocky flashes will take time to iron out. Very very good game.
Here's an idea for the future, PVP! yeah, I like that! lol

Great game, although I agree with wadark. 4/5 Until star requirements are made known. I have spent too much time doing the same side mission without taking damage to only get a bronze.

Well darn, I really wanted to give this game 5/5, because its great. It's better than the first and adds a lot of fun challenges. The only thing keeping me from giving it the full 5 is the fact that the Star requirements are never defined in any way, making it guesswork as to what times are required, or in the case of the side missions, WHAT the stars are based on. I've tried time, kills, and everything you can think of, and still usually get nothing or just a bronze. So, sadly, 4/5.

@dcshuzon: You have to completely remove (unequip) your Front Cannon weapon. Simply click on the current front cannon you have equipped to remove it, and then tackle a mission using your Shoulder Cannons to clear it. Now, about the game: the grammar in this game is poor, but the quality of the game is pretty great. As with everyone else, I agree to the point where side-missions need a thorough explanation of how rank is scored/graded. As for anyone confused about the 'Lose 500 lives in one level' medal; it doesn't mean you have to die 500 times in a given level (which I thought at first; despite how ridiculous that actually would be). It means you have to 'lose 500 LIFE (health) in one level (mission)'. Easiest way? Equip your 'Repair Droid Ammunition' Special Component, and tackle Survival mode. Hope this helps anyone who bothers to read this comment.

a good set up is
Legs: Ure best set of spider
Gun: Big Laser > Cannon
Shoulder: High Caliber cannon (pretty much one shots everything short of a tank + can shoot through walls at a distance)
Special: Cooling system > INC DMG > Hardcore
thats how i do all the missions and as for the hull just take whatever your weight can handle.... and when i use the > it just means priority too.... and lastly this is all imo.

though i always thought i didnt like thus kind of games i´ve enjoyed it very much.for this contrast in my thoughts and dos 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
im pretty sure the ranks on side missions only refer to destruction so every building and every enemy
should get you gold on every side mission
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
im mad elevel 34 in survival used big lazer gun homing Cluster shoulder white heavy suit and the fastest legs that wil support that build oh yah and the droid repair extra
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You're supposed to be able too shoot through some walls, the game tells you that if you didn't skip the tutorial. Homing missiles need to get close to the target to see them, so get close to whatever you're trying to hit or just fire them in it's direction so they eventually see it. Remember, people, take yer time at first, and you CAN repeat a mission... any mission... over and over if you want, to help develop your various weapons at the end of each mission!

Just a few notes on stuff since my last post: Survival mode is the big red planet with a circle in the top middle of th map once you unlock it. Controls: I use the arrow keys and mouse, and pinky the space bar when I need it. Not hard, certainly not "awful" if a person with a nervous disorder can do it. I want to remind Dave1004 I told you: when you start, take your time. You'd have more hp if you did. Save your game and hit back on the map screen to see your medals. The hardcore badges are gotten by unlocking the "Hardcore Device" special component, then equipping it when you do levels, it increases your exp gains by 50% but one hit kills you.

Does anyone know if you can just have the menu open (not a level) in the background and get the time medals (10 hours)

In the third story level, you can start the boss fight too early and be trapped in a corner where you can't shoot him at all.

The sound is quite satisfactory, although could use a bit more variety. The HUD is absolute crap. Game itself is pretty fun.

Fun game, huge improvement over its predecessor, which was not a bad game in its own right. A clear definition of how to earn gold stars and what times were required would be nice, but those might be unlockable for all I know. Very good game.

This game has some issues when using wasd for controls. it wold randomly start walking in a direction and it got me killed at the end of the level. 2/5

Fun game, but restarting a whole missin after dying... not good for those who don't have a lot of time on their hands

Well, need help please, if somebody knows this, plz whisper or give me a shout. HOW, DO YOU, GET, THAT, HARDCORE STUFF FOR THE IN-GAME BADGES?! It's pretty much the only thing left for me to acomplish, except for the 10 hours achievement.

A bit too advanced for me, I don't really like to read a whole lot of directions and story's to a game. Simple and quick upgrades games are for me.

Huge problem: you can't see your statistics you've gotten--I have no idea whether I need one medal or fifteen to reach forty.
