Well, that's my kind of game. Uncomplicated shooting-action spiced up with some RPG-elements. Story is not very original, but who cares? The only complaint (yet) is the confusing bonus-system. What do I have to do, to earn the bronze, silver or gold star? That should be somewhere defined (or do I miss something?) 4/5

also the most impossible medal ever.. complete all levels with hardcore device.. in other words: COMPLETE ALL LEVELS WITHOUT BEIGN HIT 1 SINGLE TIME!!!

that imp badge is almost impossible.. seriusly get all golds...play for 10 hours...get to wave 30 on survival.. INSANE

hmm... i stared(star is when all gold stars are gained in actual mission) so much:1st story mission,all cut power missions, all defence missions, secure 1st and 2nd mission(in 3rd i go only silver :( ),destroy 1st and 2rd mission, rescue 1st mission, intel 1st mission. So much.... :)

Thrazzon - not all, secure probably or time or taken hits because secure main objective is kill everything O_O
Defence - probably taken hits, because enemy is infinite, and we must survive for minute.

Side mission stars: most of them are based on how many enemies do you kill on the map. So take your time, kill everyone, then finish the objective.

Great game, but like some people point out, side missions need at least a tip to know how to get the stars on each one. -1 because of that so it'll be 4/5.

Huge improvements over the 1st, but 4/5 over ambiguities for star achievements. Not knowing what to do to get medals gets frustrating for players. In addition, a stats page would be a great plus, so we can find out how many of each type of stars we have accumulated, how fast are our runs, etc.

Oh wait, there isn't a medal for completing the boss mode with the hardcore device? Anyway, good game. Much better then the first one. Keep that storyline going!

Fun game, albeit a bit unclear at times, like with Rank. Some of the medals seem really hard so I'm not going to even bother with them. Feels more like an impossible badge to collect them all. Overall I thought it had good growth and selection. Never got too repetitive, but again, I'm bailing on the medals. :P 4/5

for the time rate on missions, you can have it in two times: first time, enemies killed and the the other, and try it a second time speeding all the way, without doing anything else. That makes it easier.

Too difficult! Generally ok, but I can't possibly make it through the second mission, what's up with that?

I agree with wadark. getting the time bonuses seems virtually impossible because it is not clear what it is based on. Love the game, gfx could do with a little tweeking as is blocky at times and try enlarging the playing area so that the player dosen't see the surrounding black tiles as the player moves towards the side of the play area. love the massive explosions but the blocky flashes will take time to iron out. Very very good game.
Here's an idea for the future, PVP! yeah, I like that! lol

Great game, although I agree with wadark. 4/5 Until star requirements are made known. I have spent too much time doing the same side mission without taking damage to only get a bronze.

Well darn, I really wanted to give this game 5/5, because its great. It's better than the first and adds a lot of fun challenges. The only thing keeping me from giving it the full 5 is the fact that the Star requirements are never defined in any way, making it guesswork as to what times are required, or in the case of the side missions, WHAT the stars are based on. I've tried time, kills, and everything you can think of, and still usually get nothing or just a bronze. So, sadly, 4/5.
