But I admit it... most of the side missions' criteria for the gold star is quite hard to understand... for instance, what do I have to do to get a gold star on a Rescue Mission? Or a Destroy Mission? Stuff like that... any ideas?

Why does everyone keep complaintning about "gold time on mission 5 impossible" thing? I got the gold time score the 1st time I tried to get it. I use the Big Laser Cannon, Mega Beam Cannon, Cockpit Light White, Legs Spider White and no modules. I just run as fast as I can to wherever the arrow points and kill everything on the way... not that hard really :-S

@Dzugavili: When you first load the game there is an option called medal wall that shows you all the medals and what you need.

Fantastic game. I really wouldn't have minded an impossible badge for getting all the 72 medals. Quite challenging :)

Noticed a few bugs:
I died against the boss on lvl 4 with the hardcore device, but it gave me the medal of winning lvl 4 with the hardcore device anyway.
Also, for some reason, I could walk down a cliff where there was a crater from a building over most of it, but I couldn't walk back up. None of the other craters on cliffs had that though.

This is really a great game.
Only thing is that the compass on side missions sometimes does weird. i go to that place and then there's nothing

to get the one only with shoulder weap unequip your main weap and play a lvl. any1 know what weapon can kill a boss in 1 hit???

I don't think it cares how many times you get hit, except for in the defense side missions. At least, not enough to be worth taking the extra time to do any serious dodging.

Just kill everything (incl. buildings) as fast as you can and try to avoid hits. That's how I get the gold medal.

I just don't understand how the game awards medals for side missions. I do them as fast as possible with the spider legs, taking no damage, and I get no medal. Can someone explain?

i don't understand this game i was moving around and then my internet cut and i continued on movig in a circle non stop. How do you get it to stop.
I have restarted the computer and it is still like that. the cool thing is no monster can atk me while im like this.
