Destroy is 100% impossible to gold star, I've tried just about everything, including speed running it while killing absolutely everything and taking almost no damage...

Excellent combo: Big Laser Cannon, High Caliber Cannon, Cockpit Heavy White, Gravity Engine, and Legs Spider White. Fast and powerful.

Why can't I get even a bronze on the first two intels? I have Golds on every mission but those two. I've tried going without getting hit, but that didn't work, and then I went as fast as I could, but still no bronze. What the hell? Any help?

BartJ385: the key to Destroy 5 is speed. I finally beat it with homing rockets for both weapons, less cool-down and the fastest octo-legs. It took a freakish number of tries.

the hardcore device is a special component from the hanger that you get from playing enough. it causes your mech to get 50% more exp., but one shot kills you, hence the name hardcore
