Pretty fun, though more mission variety would help. Suggestions:
*Minimap
*More weapon variety (different colors mean...what, exactly?).
*Limited mortars and an ammo display for them
*Jump-jets (for that Starship Troopers feel :-) )
*Maybe multiple airstrikes, but that's extra-optional

good but didnt think the homing missisle were worth it and the flame thrower sucks so if you could have like a turn off thing that would rock

It really needs automatic fire. There's no reason why people should have to hold down the mouse button the whole time. Don't hurt people's hands.

At least you're not trying to hide the copycat too much, since one of the original vertical run-and-guns was "Commando".

glitchy, but shows promise. weapons powerup would be good. Bad: cannot engage enemies off screen, even if you know they are there. flame indeed sucks.

Dear game developers, If there's no tactical reason not to just fire the main weapon continuously then please save the user the hassle of having to press down their "fire" key continuously. Sincerely, Gamer with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Dolphus i totally agree this is one of those lame mirror games, the origonal had a tank in it and it actually had stratagy (you needed to hide and manuver through shots) ive only played lvl 1 and i knew it was a mirror, come up with more origonal content plz :(

FUN but you need upgrades and a way to save! 3/5, but with those upgrades and saves its a 4.5/5! keep up the good work!

Checkpoints are not needed. Each mission takes roughly five minutes to complete once you get the hang of the game. Additionally, the only locations where death is a serious possibility is at the bosses, at the very end of the levels. If anything, it's not nearly challenging enough as a "hang back and bombard" strategy almost always works. Additionally, the heirarchy of weapons is very pronounced and once you unlock a new weapon you never want to go back to a prior upgrade. In a game like this, diversity of weapons is what's important, and the power-up choices in this game is severely lacking. I noticed that if you try to move at the very beginning of a level, the game forces you to continue moving in that direction until the opening chatter finishes. I would highly recommend integrating the Kong API to add badges (high scores would be pointless). Overall, a fairly fun game that I was able to kill an hour with. Not spectacular, but not too shabby either.

a good 4/5, but could be a 5/5 with some improvements. Challenging enough to require some effort, but did not get frustrating. good game
