Survived 27 waves on my first try at survival mode (with golden commando). Levels are far too easy, the waves are just large numbers of turrets around you in a circle. Graphics are good, but levels are extremely repetitive. Crappy weapons over-write rockets unless you go out of your way to not kill enemies close to you. 2/5

how do you get to survival lvl 15? is it just random luck to avoid a 4 tank+turret circle spawn? this is beyond "hard".

Fun game, but horrid balance. The final stage 5 boss was a pushover, but the 11+ waves of survival mode are bullets flying in more places then I can move to dodge them. Also, the weapons are 100% lameness. None of them are any better than the others, and flame is the worst. Don't make me pick them up by walking over them. If that's the case, make them a little more rare (or power ups for picking up multiples in a row of the same type). Otherwise, I should be able to select them. Fun game, lame bosses, lame weapons, and far too short.

I made it to wave 23 and then i realised the game failed to connect with kongregate so i didnt get my impossible badge -_-... The games alright but its super frustrating.

LOL in level 5 the lag worked to my advantage. I was fighting the boss and using rockets, but the game froze, nothing moved, but the rockets were still being produced. And when the game unfroze about 1000000 rockets fired at the boss, killing him instantly :D. Time: 1:45

I'd say the rocket launcher. Just keep firing at it and hitting your space bar and it dies the fastest. This is of course assuming that it is tyour first go and you have not earned all 15 gold stars yet.

There's so many things about this game that blow. Collision detection is off sometimes, horrible lag if you play for awhile, random power-ups that force you to switch to poorer weapons, rocket weapon randomly fires only 1 or 2 rockets instead of 3 sometimes, sometimes can't move at beginning of level until I fire, sometimes acts like I'm holding down a movement button when I'm not for the first few seconds of a level, sometimes you can walk over the block where a gun turret was before you destroyed it and other times you can't, time goals for gold stars are ludicrous, survival mode goes directly from pathetically easy to impossibly hard. I particularly like how when you hit "skip" during the credits it just scrolls it a little faster instead of actually, I don't know, SKIPPING them.

Is it just me or is the hitbox on the golden mech a lot bigger? I had an easier time on survival using the basic mech.

Great game. But it never saves my progress... Which is an incredible travesty. How can I work towards achievements this way?

really great/addictive/simple game, needs some minor tweaks/additions and what easily rise to some pretty high ranks...
restart level, quit level, make the health and stuff bar-ish thing translucent, make dead bodies and explosions wipe away after a few seconds (makes it to hard to concentrate [especially on survival]), and most important: MORE WEAPONS and when you pick up the same weapon twice, upgrade it!

DAMN. IT. Clicked right mouse button with 30 seconds to go on Level 2. Whole browser froze up except for the game, which I couldn't regain control over, so I died. Now I'll have to do the whole frigging level again and get 100%. Grr.

uhhhh, i agree with solistus. this game is not that fun, really. just a bit more effort into it could make it shine, i guess, but the game as is just doesnt hold my attention...

The game is average. Not a bad game as such, but not good either. It has average gameplay, average graphics and average weapons. It is bland and boring. HOWEVER there is a dedent challenge within, so not all is lost

Bug: Defeated fourth level boss with 5 armor left. After I kill him, my character freezes and is destroyed by his leftover fire. I couldn't move to avoid

i just beat a level after being killed.... on level three i shot the boss and was killed, and it said game over, then it went to the next mission on the mission menu

that's not a bug but a revenue enhancing feature...err I'm mean hit refresh. :)
btw, never thought the lvl 5 time gold star was possible but I got 1:54. go for rockets and enhanced motor. for the mini-boss two tank stage just pound them with rockets and motor quick to kill them both (the red guys usually die from the shock radius of the motor) then kill the turrets (start at the bottom). you need to practice killing the last boss quick, notice his pattern and try to always be on his side firing with motors.
forget about the flamethrower.

The survival mode is pretty horribly balanced, mostly since there's such a power disparity between the spawn maps of the first ten waves and those of all the waves after that (and even between the different maps in the 11+ set). Case in point: Wave 10 might be a single 'boss-tank' from the first level. Waves 11+ might be four 'boss-tanks' and three dozen turrets. Wave 10 might be a ring of soldiers and three turrets in each corner -- Waves 11+ might have three dozen _double_ turrets spaced evenly around the outside (creating so many bullets that the collision detection begins to fail on my laptop), or "just" eight mechs and a dozen single turrets stuffed in the corners.
