just had a thought: if you were stripped of upgrades once you start taking damage, this would ratchet up the difficulty reasonably without having to create uberpowerful enemies

this is an incredibly refreshing take on a tired-out genre. loads of fun and incredibly addictive. i would normally talk about story but obviously this game's premise doesn't require it. the only problem i could think of is difficulty: even though you acquire these incredible weapons in the game, most of the enemies still shoot slow bullets, making even the most intimidating boss fights mere child's play (with the S upgrade, i just dodged and shot randomly everywhere and won) this is nitpicking though, as i'm sure the difficulty ratchets up later on (I played the first three levels). i just couldn't wait out another level for more of a challenge, and its the only reason you don't get a perfect score 4/5

Wow!!! I got destroyed and luckily one of my rockets hit the final boss giving me the hard challenge! I'm glad I don't have to that again!

All I have to say is: "B'yah!". Oh, and this: Guys go with rockets and on the 4 super tank sur. level go vertically down(starting in the middle) and then loop around clockwise taking out turrets. hit the easiest to kill first.

If you're stuck on the survival waves, try to stay away from the center of the screen (vertically) that way you'll only have 3/4 sides shooting at you at a time.

argh stupid accidently walking over a power-down(not very uppish in my opinion) and died on wave 18 cause i got homers =\

finally got all the badges, at first i could only get 14 lvls and couldnt even get the hard badge, but with the golden commando i got exactly 20 lol
the lag helped a bit too since i could dodge the bullets more easily

Well, it's pretty obvious I won't get the double hard/imp, because with the golden commando I can't get past wave 14. I'm sure if I tried for about 5 more hours, I'd be able to get it but the double points challenge would have ended by then. What a shame.

Spent way too many hours getting the gold star time in the fifth level, mortar is useless and all weapons are useless except rocket launcher...
I liked the game at first, but was disappointed when I found out that almost every weapon is useless except the very first one you unlock. (well, the flame thrower is not so bad, but I prefer long range weapons)

another thing to, every time i get through wave 5 i lose about 10-20hp. then when i get wave 10 i have about 20 or so hp. then i die on either 12 or 13

Decent game, a fair amount of fun. The instructions could be significantly better though, as there is no readily available information about the various power-ups. Also the lack of any sort of customizable play experience (e.g. skill points, talent paths, etc.) detracts from what could be a better experience.

survival is realy hard. i have 3 hours left and it semes impossiable. hint: Orange tanks = flame, people = motar (unless in circle then flame) and everything else = Rockets

getting through 15 levels is pretty impossible. I don't know how much better the golden comando is, but I bet that you would need it to get through the 15 waves. The homing missiles help so you only concentrate on dodging, but they aren't as strong. And on some levels, they don't target who you want them to. I am going off on a limb and saying that in order to get the hard badge, you need the golden comando. But I'm not sure because I don't even have the golden comando.

Yeah, got the impossible badge with 21, after an 18 and a 19! :) Cool concept and good game, but I wish there was some kind of map (w/ battle fog) for levels 1-5, not to mention a timer. Survival is tricky, I think a bit too much of the difficulty rests on figuring out how to survive that horrible 4 tanks stage, because it's WAY harder than the others. The only way I could figure out (with someone's help) was to wait in the middle until the tanks were kind of close, and then circle around them while destroying the turrets, but even then the tanks are so big that if you don't go on just the right path they can shoot you point-blank. P.S. Rockets pwn. Especially on the final boss.
