This game freaks me out to much... call me what you want but I am not so much for horror things, and that's a big one for being alone at 11 at night

It's an game just to spend some time relaxing.... NOW, that wasp thing, if you keep pressed spacebar it will keep firing and you lvl until reach lv 20! 4 nice story

It reminded me of Dead Space, which I loved. I don't think it is a rip-off because though the guts were similar, the story made it stand apart. I do have some complaints. The movement of the enemies is a bit glitchy. For the "zombies" it made sense for them to turn around and attack you, but for other creatures such as the butterflies and the charging beast, it made it difficult to evade/jump on the other side to attack. I found myself shooting, performing a perfectly timed jump (which kudos: this truly made timing a necessary skill, making it challenging) and when I land on the opposite side to attack, they turned around and were on top of me, making it near impossible to NOT get hit. That is a big issue when you have 10% HP left. This game was excellent and I give 10/10 for the work you put into it. The visuals and graphics were superb. Finding and reading the logs not only let me gain insight into the story, but gave me a break from the mundane shooting and jumping.

Its nice to see a developer so committed to their game and fanbase that they rewrite an entire ending because the players dislike it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh I must have misunderstood. I thought you said that you were going to have a good ending.
things that can be improved on:
1. too many annoying enemies.
2. make it so you can aim with the mouse.
3. random faces flashing on the screen wasn't even close to scary, it was just annoying.
4. bosses took little to know effort to beat, all you have to do is sit there and hold the space bar and jump every once and a little while.
5. felt more like you were fighting the controls then the enemies.
6. glitch where if you go one way then decide to turn around you use the run.
7. it looks like it was something thrown together in a level editor.
8. enemies start to get really annoying.
9. basicly a rippoff of metroid
10. you can just basicly spam shoot down hallways and you don't have to worry.
now for the good things
1. at least you tried
2. way to waste time
1/5 for you.

Sci-fi action shooter and survival horror are a bad combination. I prefer the latter so I'll stat what's wrong. In a horror you're supposed to have a feeling of vulnerability. In this game I was a damage tanking fridge with a highly overpowered weapon, after I got the shot spreader the game was over with 30 more minutes of repetitive shooting. Second Atmosphere I would frequently encounter large swarms of enemies. The music and environment fits for building atmosphere but it's not supported by the enemies. The lack of atmosphere does make sense when you think about it. (Oxygen Level 0%)

To everybody who can't get past that guy stuck to the wall with the butterfly in the second level, you can't jump straight over. There are steps behind you. Jump off the steps then double jump onto the top of the wall.

Awsome game. remindes of dead space kind of. My only complaint is that you can't shoot up. But an awsome game none the less. my favorite online game so far

It's already been said, but I'll repeat it just because I can:
This is game is 'Event Horizon' by way of 'Dead Space' by way of 'Metroid.' Simple as that, really. You run, you jump, you shoot, you open colour-coded doors, you beat a boss, you beat another boss, you win the game. But it's so very easy that it won't even feel like you've 'won' anything by the time you're done.
If anything, 'Breach' is a really good time waster with pretty graphics. You can try to earn all the achievements if you like, but that's up to you. I did, and it was completely anticlimactic.
Still, it's fun, despite the clichéd plot, uninspired level design, and boring (if not excessively repetitive) 'ambient' music. At least all the bullets and puking zombies breaks up the monotony.
Overall: 3 out of 5.

i fell through a wall above a door and went invisible (the first door in the crew areas) wasn't too pleased with that
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Pedrolafalc, you can double-jump over that wall the butterfly-spawning crewman was stuck too; it does take a little work, you have to do the second jump at the right time, or else you won't quite have the height. It's one of the closest margins on a double jump I recall in the game.

This game was fun and kept me going all the way till the end i like how it wasn't too scary but had a realistic zombie concept. Ussually i'd shit my pants on survival zombie games but this one was fun and a tad scary. I also liked how it was easy and i wouldn't end up dieng like 10 times to beat one boss like in resident evil. However sometime's the bosses were too easy, i just had to stand there and shoot. I also enjoyed the fun upgrades such as a free new suit with jetpack attachment and a sort of machine-shotgun. However it would be much funner if we could choose our upgrades and which stats to improve during leveling up. Such as a sniper that could shoot bullets going through and hitting multiple zombies or machinegun shooting light but fast bullets or marksman shooting multiple small but effective bullets. Really hope you make a sequal and have Sergei infect the planet or ship and a new hero will defeat them all. :D 4/5

Hey listen Berzerk I'm sorry but i agree with everyone this game needs serious work. one problem I had was that the AI was horrible I could shoot a zombie 4 times and he would still keep on walking away from me wouldn't turn or anything

I'm having a problem with the second level -you know, when you are in the hangar, and when a butterfly drops off the body of a guy- , I can't jump or overjump the walls and I can't go through the red door. Can anyone help???
Excuse me for the english, I'm not used of this language. Besides I'm drunk.
Very funny game indeed.

ok people who were puzzled with jumping some jumps can be overcome be leaping at it and turing real quick next you need to level a LOT for uprgades to begin to work and finally ending is a major LETDOWN
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
OMG it sux it needs serious work no kidding on the amount of shots i saw no difference in rate of fire and in addition need to work on jumping so parts are completely uncrossable

An alright game, I'd play it again at some point but in terms of actual content it's really blah. The gameplay itself is very simple which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but since you're restricted from aiming anywhere but directly in front of you it makes certain enemies incredibly annoying. Honestly, I had more trouble with those damn moths than anything else in the game, even the bosses. Speaking of the bosses each of them is far too easy, especially the final boss. 3.5/5, primarily for the atmosphere, great creature designs and awesome music.

I can't jump over the spot where the guy is opened up by the butterfly in level 2. Any help? Because nothing is working.

This game lacks on alot of features
Things to fix:
1. you can't aim, not even simply upward which is unnatural and makes the gameplay boring
2. The Dialog boxes and the levels are not interesting enough and it seems like a Systemshock-Halo wannabe that cant pull it off.
3. No challange in game, again boring
4. Seems like there is story but I didn't feel like reading through walls of text.
Overall the only redeemable feature here is the graphics and animation which are kind of good even if heavily derived from stuff we all know from other games(or is a coincidance that the protagonist looks like Master Chief?

Up above the world you fly like a teatray in the sky! Killkillkill for *astur the *nspeakable! Hail to Yuggoth! Emergence is inevitable!.. But what do "flashlight" and "autotrigger" do?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you were going to copy dead space couldnt you have done it better? Its an ok game, but some changes would be nice (using the mouse to aim for example.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
sh*t this is good game but i kinda got bored after the second boss
P.S. - wow nice statement about that this aint no children game! Couse this is some disturbing game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it was ok. resembles closely to the storyline of Deadspace. i would have liked to see more of an original shooter though. nice attempt tho to make a good action shooter game. it ran nicely but the enimes were kinda easy. one boss i just stood in one place and held the spacebar.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I definitely like the new ending. That was a huge improvement.
I felt the last boss was too easy though. He can easily be defeated just by standing on the right side of the large top platform, ducking and autofiring. The few times he pops up high enough to hit you, just move a tick over to the right side of the platform again and repeat. No need to jump, dodge, etc.
Aside from that minor gripe, this was an amazing game. Event Horizon is one of my favorite movies and was obviously an inspiration for this game. Kudos all around.
