Jetpack Joyride has missions that refresh and you can keep beating missions over and over and level up, so it's not empty after a few hours and you'll be able to get more coin rewards. After leveling up to the max level (15), you kind of start over and get a prestige badge. Although the level keeps on going up (16+), it requires less stars again. Maybe something like that would be a nice feature to have. Although some people will grind to get all prestige badges and that's a waste of time, but at least they have something else to do while they play the game anyway. Here the missions just get completed and go away.

You can spend coins in order to skip missions. It doesn't cost many coins and it never costs real money. Although I beat every mission myself. I don't want to miss out on the gained coins and I don't want the shame of skipping missions. Do skipped missions even count as completed?

Max upgrades are an unnecessary grind. Beating wave 30 is for the badge. The harder the game is for you, the more you need to grind to be able to beat wave 30. You don't NEED to upgrade everything if you can beat it already. After wave 30 you can upgrade everything in case you really want to. Also it goes up to level 10 instead of 7 after wave 30. There's some more story after that too. Although the store is really simple and just a bunch of jokes and memes. At what wave is the story actually over? In any case, the game is pretty fun and even if you upgrade everything to the max, it's still more fun than most mobile games because those last for hundreds of hours and then the fun is completely gone. At least this game doesn't sell you any coins for real money, so the developer has no incentive to make it extra grindy and the difficulty is just about right.

Need 30 waves to complete the game, a little more new dialog after that. Now here's the heads up: Anyone looking to get max stats should expect to run over 100 waves. Sucks there wasn't a badge for that.

I like how you are not selling us coins for real money like a lot of games do nowadays. The value per dollar of 99.9% of microtransactions is laughable. Thanks for not programming in microtransactions.

Why don't a lot of Flash games with upgrades show how much the upgrades do? Like how much more money do I earn with the backpack upgrades and how much more damage do I do with the ammo dmg upgrade for example?

I cannot get past wave 4 because of the lag, death by lag everytime... at least the easy badge is obtainable for botd, but the other badges are impossible

I can't get past the first level. I beat the wave and get taken to the "Peace Achieved" screen, but I can't figure out what I need to do in order to get past it.

Really fun, but because of Kongregate's several cookies being in use and the ads, the games lags and gives you big disadvantages to surviving the waves.

When I go off my browser THE GAME DOES NOT SAVE! Still an awesome game tho but its hard to finish without saves and if there is any way to get this back on google play please do but still a very peaceful game.

are enemies getting stronger with each level or what?
Because grenade was killing guys with flamethrower in one hit and now they tend to live with scraps of life

I can't believe this game was made all the way back in 2013 and was still SO AWESOME to play through! A little tip for the final wave - you can leave 1 guy alive to get at max health and recharge your cooldowns before tackling the axe boss. With him, and at full health, don't sweat it with avoiding all his axes. Burn him down first at the final epic boss fight, though.

I can't believe people are saying this is ironic. This is one of the most peaceful games I have ever played. You devs might want to add some action to spice it up. It's getting a bit boring being so peaceful.

How have people made it to 200 waves? I'm at 112, and already the massive waves at the end of every 10 levels are nearly crashing my browser.

Tip: once you get the "gun cannon" upgrade that gives you a bullet spray, firing in short bursts is more effective than continuous fire. This is because for some reason, the longer you continue firing, the less spread you have, and within a few seconds you are left with a single stream of bullets.

The gameplay is fun. The mechanics fit together nicely. The jokes are great. The main game (first 30 waves) doesn't feel grindy. 6/5
