This was a fantastic game from beginning to end. Each area presented a slightly new challenge that had you scrambling for the next upgrades to overcome it. I wasn't punished for not having upgrades, but rewarded for buying them. I loved how I completely neglected armor when it first popped up, so I hit the asteroid field and had that "Awww crap" feeling. It was a new challenge to over come, and I loved that. You kept me engaged and feeling triumphant until the very end. An easy 5/5

lol, I just achieved god mode. hit earth, start falling..die. WAIT! i'm not dead yet? Not only am I not dead yet, i'm traveling through all levels instantly for 10 seconds. Then continue as normal until I take damage, then glitches again, repeat that until I hit earth and it crashes with music playing. Great game though lol, good music.

idk about you guys, but I'd sure love to get off any planet that has dudes floating around chucking glowing green rocket fuel out.

It's quite a good game, just it's a bit easy to beat when upgrading the right things - you really need only a few of them to get to the end - although landing after reaching the top is quite hard^^
Nevertheless, good game :)

Very nice. My only suggestion would be to give an option to reduce the length of ignition and launch. I realize all the rockets need to fire and overcome inertia. It looks and sounds nice, but gets old after a few launches.

Great game. Suggestions for possible improvements: More maneuvering thruster upgrades. I don't really need all that speed when i'm launching straight into enemies; what i'd like is a bit tighter turning radius -- On the radar different colors for speed boosts and coins -- Less randomness to fuel. It should be random but a little more consistency would be better imo -- Don't make us wait to unlock repulsion field. Until then the asteroid belt is practially unnavigable and its one of the last to unlock. In fact just get rid of the unlocks altogether to allow for more choice and strategy -- Allow us to turn off the thrusters to allow for gentle landings and in case we pick up unwanted fuel while falling. Tap down/up to deactivate/activate thrusters. -- Dead alien ships should drop fuel/cash or at least give some cash on the end of flight screen. They are easy to avoid and need some incentive to kill them other than the 2 achievements. Thanks for an awesome game!

I'm a big fan of / sucker for the vertical launch genre, and I have to say this is in my top 3 or 4 along with knightmare tower and the hedgehog launch games. The shooting/dodging enemy projectiles along with the asteroid belt/repulsion field dynamic gives this game its own unique feel. Also the radar is excellent. I personally quite liked the "real navigator"-type mindset of looking at the radar scouting for fuel most of the time and only looking out the 'viewport' when i needed to do some precision flying (avoiding asteroids). 5/5

LOL perfect launch with a full upgrade on the launch engine gets you to level 6 in 18 seconds if your ship can take it. Best glitch ever.

Bad things: Booster ( should have its own fuel and use it when u want by pressing space) - Music ( it gets boring) - Range of sight (too small, you spend all the time watching the radar) - Time (you spend like an hour to reach lvl 5) - Badges (definitely needs badges, for taking like 3 hours to finsh this game). Annoying things (Booster, range of sight) so the game gets 3/5 :/

Graphics not really my cup of tea, magnet becomes useless to pick up fuel cannisters at higher levels/speed, no way to cut engine to do landing challenges, since we can't cut engine have to dodge fuel as well as asteroids/hostiles on the way down to land. 2/5

Very badly executed launcher game. (1) The interface does not work: no speedometer, and boost is one-go. Also ship is too big and the screen too small, you end up watching the radar all the time. (2) Money is scarce. In later game, income does not increase (there's not the usual option to earn more money per flight). In fact income decreases because in higher levels there are fewer coins. However the upgrades keep getting more expensive.

Whoa, what's this, a radar that actually works in a launch game - allowing me to navigate based on what it shows and being effective - it can't be real

anyone else notice the gun is useless, at least at first...and the mission to kill an enemy is just stuck there forever

Only problem is that once I maxed the radar, I spent the rest of the game steering by radar, which made the rest of the screen pointless.

I think its great how you can collect fuel while falling and potentially turn a busted run into glorious triumph (never give up hope)

In 1998, coins minted in 1876 where launched into space with a great ability to float on other planets. I found that story and guessed that's why floating coins are so popular.

love the game and have just the one problem
I spend all my time watching the radar, which in turn makes it like I am playing an 80's spectrum game !!!
5/5
As an ex Spectrum owner, I salute thee!

Save gone and I only left my computer alone for an hour :( Oh well pretty fun game anyway and once you upgrade the bonus/magnet you get up there pretty quick.

Great launcher game. I feel the visible area is too small. I played the last half of the game exclusively looking at the radar screen.

Great game! It has some innovative touches. That asteroid belt is a bitch to go through but it sure helps reaching some fuel.

And one last thing make it so that once you do something you don't have to do it again because the award wasn't up for it yet.

I would like to see a brake button so I can get more fuel upgrades, also make the magnet a little bit stronger, and make the on board boost a lot stronger. 3.7/5

Ok, the lauch/upgrade-genre has been done to death already and we now have tons of unmotivated clones and plain copies, but this game at least did it right. The basic mechanics are far from being innovative, but the changes to gameplay are kinda "new": Fuel-pickups as an important element rather than a "nice to hit"-object. Speed is actually low enough to still being able to see something, so moving around isn't pointless as in other games. The radar as a kind of "Minigame". Different areas/stages (God... those asteroids!). etc.pp. Besides that, graphics and music are nice, Controls are ok. Good game! 4/5
P.S.: What I'd like to see was a better warning-symbol for shipts/asteroids/etc. Maybe change it so that it becomes bigger and bigger depending on the distance to the player's ship?

The game mechanics are well thought out. I enjoy the way the radar changes perspective from climbing to falling. Well done.

This is an adorable game, Yepi is so cute. The graphics are smooth and the music doesn't get annoying like in other games. Will there be badges? :)

Love it! It's a fun upgrade/climber game with lots of available upgrades and combinations to change the way that you play. Faved!

While this upgrade game overall is nothing to write home about, there are some interesting ideas in the mechanics: the small alien "helper" that drops fuel pods for you, or the fact that you apparently collect more than 100% of fuel and use it, too, set this game apart from others of this genre.
