Very fun game a 5/5. Loved how some of the levels were put together in ways that were simple so that varied age levels can enjoy yet it greatly enhanced the game. I think my favorite overall was the jungle brooks it was very fun. Would be cool if you could add a special one where you did custom made or could try out all the specials on the special card like the sheriff/sun/perfect ect.

It'd be nice if there was a little in-game guide or something explaining all the special cards and how they work. You can get it just by playing, but it'd be nice to know how they work before you get to them. Otherwise a great game.

You can start a round over and over to acquire easy special clubs on top of the pile, click it and reset the level. You will still have the club in your bag!

@Maurog: Um, this is written by the same studio who did Faerie Solitaire. From demos I've seen, the games look completely different and, in any case, accusing somebody of stealing their own work doesn't make sense.

Darned addictive. Brings back memories of Golf from the Windows Entertainment Pack :) I had to take methadone to stop playing Tri Peaks back then.

@DuckDodgers: "4 under par" on a par 5 hole is, by definition, a "hole in one" or an "ace", or they could call it a "condor". It feels odd with this whole golf framework that ignores a lot of the nomenclature and uses a two-step scoring feature.

I played the first 4 courses and decided this is an awesome game, so I bought it. The full version is a lot better; there's hints, there's more irons around, and you can earn money throughout the level to buy extra features. I'm glad I bought it. :D

Good game. One of the few I actually keep playing after getting the achievement/s. I keep reminding myself that I shouldn't be having this much fun playing solitaire.

I know this is solitare and the cards are supposed to be random...but if there there were cards that were always set in place then at least you could have SOME chance of successfuly finishing a level. Also, I think you should get some kind of currency going for completing levels so players could buy the number cards to use instead of just randomly finding them.

Course 9 was tough, but no message of congratulations that you beat the demo, when you finally win all the courses. :-(

@FrankTheGolem: "4 under par' for and Par is a triple eagle. It doesn't matter how many pars the hole is. All have -1 = birdie, -2 = eagle, -3 = double eagle, and so on and so forth.
And yes, there is a bit of luck required to remove all the cards. But to counter-act the luck, is your golf clubs :) They came in handy for getting a three star on the final course.

Great game, good sounds. I also learned a few new curse words when drawing the same card a already had!...that's the way she goes...the way she goes.

Does anyone find something horribly depressing about the fact that this is the #1 iPad game?
It's subjective merits are arguable, but what is not argiable is that this is a game that requires little, little thought or engagement.

"4 under Par" on a Par 5 hole is a Triple Eagle. ....what?
And as others have mentioned, luck-based deals plus luck-based wild cards means you can lose with perfect strategy or lose with no strategy at all.

Love the albeit limited version here. Sure wish it would work on my iPod Touch 4, but it crashes at the end of Hole 1.

It was enjoyable. Doesn't jump out at you, but still pretty good, considering I know nothing about Golf. 4/5. Interesting combination.

I clicked skip card to see what reaction I'd get for "27 over part" but half way in I got the wild card with perfect score effect!

I get trying to port solitaire to new formats to make it interesting - but ranking on something like par when a lot of your performance is decided by the lay of the cards and the sequences you get isn't all that kind. If not for the random elements like the clubs you find, the optimal outcome can be computed with a quick decision tree. You sould only get card groups that have at leaast a birdie outcome possible, otherwise 'par' is meaningless.

Good Game got to say to though the later levels are pure luck i mean one game i had four 5s and a king and went through my whole deck and finally ended up clearing ten cards before failing on the last level >.<

i went 18 under par for the fifth tournament... O.o. also, if you don't use the muligan, it should deduct one card from your final total at the end of a round.
