Need to rethink the scoring on jungle book....waaaaaay to boring trying to grind that out. There is no winning strategy. Just luck.

Those who played the "good old" solitair on windows will love this one. I liked the graphics and the game concept. The game can keep you for hours, especially if you are looking for the 3 star badge.

As luck-based as this game (I actually had FAR more trouble 3*ing Royal Hackenduff than Jungle Brook, and I got Chaos Club 3*'d on the first try), it's still fun as hell. Downloading the app for my iPhone now.

I've gotten 3 stars on all the courses on two different computers on the account and I still haven't gotten the achievement.

At the risk of sounding like an evil, horrible person; is it really that hard to include a restart button and/or shortcut? When you've got a game like this, which is bound to inspire people to try and get three stars (even before the badges were implemented), a small thing like having to go back to the main menu whenever you stuff up can make the game more frustrating than it would otherwise be.

I acknowledge you managed to catch the spirit of solitaire perfectly. That is, this "game" is all about luck. At least you had the decency to say so. Nevertheless, this piece of crap should never have existed. C'mon fanboys, show me some - love. :P

Ok. So. This game has actually grown on me a lot. I don't know why...something about it is just so addicting and fun and I don't know what. However, that doesn't make the hard badge any easier. It is incredibly hard to get 3 stars without just crazy amounts of luck. I think the pars really need to be more lenient compared to how much of a part luck plays in how you do.

Don't waste clubs! They are essential for the last two levels. If you collect all (2 to 9) of them, backup your savefile. (the file is in a folder called "Fairway2TinyDemo.swf", run a search) Then try to get 3 stars by using clubs in later holes, if you didn't get 3 stars, restore the savefile and refresh the website to get the clubs back.

Why isn't there a way to see how much under par you need for 3 stars until you get to the end of a course? I'd like to know what I'm shooting for before I miss it by 2 strokes because I was unsure whether to use my irons or not.

Chaos Club :
Random cards, stacked messily over eachother, adding ANOTHER element of PURE LUCK other than :
Which card has which value [important]
Which cards you get [ALSO important]
That stupid rnadom game that LOVES to have bouncing or "night time" roll when you are doing good [never, but freally, often]
....was that REALLY, HONESTLY, ABSOLUTELY necessary?
You also get lass cards in your deck than before, in the Brook.
BALANCE.

That's bs.... I managed a 42 combo (first level of echo echo canyon)... and it doesn't show on highscores. And the top score is 102... impossible... no level has that many cards in it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
so this is just three towers solitaire with instead of a time limit, a golf related limit. ya... fail to see the hype. 2/5 for your clever attempt at hiding that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
7 under par got me 3 stars on stage 9, sweet... a nice relief from the 12 under par on the 8th, good game... if your feeling lucky 4/5

Level 8 is just retarded. You have a million comments negative about it here, can only imagine how many you have from the itunes store.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I love golf solitaire and have this game on my iPhone - play it all the time - I have 3 stars on almost all the courses
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Everyone This game is luck i will admit there is the skill of making the right moves but at the end of the day you can make all the right moves and still lose. Since its all about having the right cards in your deck.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's sad when a game fakes challenge with plain luck and lame odds. You can be skilled and plan your every move, and still get a hard negative score in the last levels just because you need the right cards (and the game does not assure a solution for any given set of cards)... so yeah.... plain luck (90% luck, 10% skill if you will...). 1/5

Level 8 is a nightmare... I've been playing for days and haven't got better than like -1. I got 3 stars on all other levels on the first try, but is it really possible to 3-star level 8?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I desagree of people saying this is more luck than skills. A lot of stages you have 3 of the same card, for exemple. and need to see carefuly whats the best option. Plus, you have these golf clubs, you have to use them with very wisdon, a bunch of levels they able me to do a combo of 18 cards+. Those ones that say it's more lucky just dont know how to play, make angry with the game and do and idiot comment and low rate to the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game's called "fairway solitaire", not fairway chess. Yeah, there's a lot of luck involved. Ever played solitaire before?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cards remaining in draw deck and being able to retry a specific hole would be nice. I know that's not allowed in golf and that's what this game's themed for, but having them all perfect and then one too many cards when I finish the last one, then having to do them all again for the badge is a little much.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As soon as you need more luck than skill it's just getting anoying. 5/5 for the first 7 stages and stage 9. -3/5 for the lame 8th stage. So: 2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is a VERY difficult "hard" badge imo. However the game is entertaining even playing the same levels over and over, so it's ok.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there something I have to do for the badge to recognize I have 3-starred all the courses? For some reason when I reloaded the game it only shows that I have 3 stars on the first two and last two courses...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Buggy saving? Don't know if it's just me, but I have 3 stars on both Jungle Brook and Chaos Club and no badge. Interestingly, it ticked Chaos Club when I completed it but then lost it again when I refreshed to try and get the achievement to update.
