Nice game, I like the fact that you can get both credits and uridium without paying. But PvP is flawed beyond hope, you just get crushed every 15 minutes by some overpowered ship on the very first maps in one shot. Places with no PvP but decent mobs would be a nice thing to add. 1/5

TripFontaine, ok? that's a second look: no matter how high your level and your skill are. Even best ships and shields bought with credits are useless vs people who paid a cash. No matter how long you play - you will always be instakilled by a noobhunter with goliath and full set of uridium equipment.

buen juego lo malo es q te matan apenas salis del primer mapa o a veces te matan jugadores q usan plata de verdad para comprarse todo y como estan sin hacer nada mas q gastar plata les parece divertido matar jugadores que apenas comienzan aparte los precios de todo esta muy caro y las misiones q solo si son imposibles te pagan algo con lo q apenas te alcanza para 1 o 2 cañones o generadores realmente necesita muchos ajuste mi calificación en hummmmmm................................................
4.5/10 (realmente una lastima porque este juego tiene mucha madera para ser un exito :/ )

du know what i hate most about this game besides the power players killing u as soon as u leave ur home base... is ur basic weapon.. the crappy laser. its a LASER that runs off some kind of power source! you shouldnt have to BUY ammo for it. IT HAS NO AMMO! ITS A LASER!!!

this game is soooooooooooooo boring. i could only picture 20-30 year old treckies that would play this game. and thats only if they are poor enough to not be able to play eve, or whatever that game is called.

Sending that SMS will cost you money and the scammer will receive uridium for free. WEll as I said, try not to play this game, it rly sucks when you see better ships just because they paid for it. Also, I forgot, about that trick for getting uridium, I think it work twice only (for the one waiting 1 month) and once, for waiting 2 months. So don't try to abuse the system, I tryed and failed. Sometimes they can even ban you if they find you did this to get free uridium, because BIGPOINT IS GREEDY AND THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY.

Oh yeah I forgot there's a way to get uridium: You have to suscribe, then play (let's say 1 hour) and then WAIT 1 MONTH WITHOUT PLAYING. Watch your email everytime you can: They'll send you a message telling you'll get 10000 uridium + credits if you click the link added to email. This one is more risky: Wait 2 MONTHS, they will offer you 40k uri and even more credits + weapons. The email will not be valid if it's not activated in 48 hours (since you received it). PLEASE NOTE THAT NOT EVERYBODY GETS THIS OPPORTUNITY, AS SAID IN THE WEBPAGE. THEY WILL DECIDE IF SEND IT OR NOT, THOUGH IT HAPPENS PRETTY OFTEN. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. It worked for me, I got the 40k uridium; if you want believe me... just NEVER, I say NEVER believe someone saying something like this: Want to get 20k uridium? (sometimes they say 100k or even more) Send a SMS to [number] and blah blah blah, whatever if they tell you that, it's scam, and you should report them.

DON'T DROP YOUR MONEY AT THIS... Just to get killed later and lose everything you got. This game fails. I played before, liked it at first, but when I realized that only the guys who PAY CA$H get the best stuff it became a piece of ****. I would give my account away (it got some good stuff) but maybe later I'll post a comment for the first who claims it.

I understand that MMO games need people to buy stuff to make money, but this game is ridiculously unbalanced. If I spend more than five minutes out of protected zones some big ship comes by and kills me. You have design your advantages for paying players in a way that people who don't pay can still play the game. As is, it's terrible. There has to be some way of preventing this kind of abuse from happening. My advice: don't waste your time on this one.

i remember this game and i had a good account i had a nice ship i just got the money for but then i decided to investigae a big red dot surrounded by smaller ones i had no clue it was some power player who likes to kill everyone in sight so i left it

This would have been a good game. And no, i'm not complaining about there being cash for currency, developers deserve a little something something for their work.
But money should be able to buy you an advantage, not *complete* domination and utter annihilation of the new players.

When you first start, you need to read the help guide. It will teach you a lot about this game. Also there is a dark orbit "bible". Here is the link: http://en.board.bigpoint.com/darkorbit/showthread.php?t=168136
Use that and the help to help you along your way. Stay in the x-1 maps, there is no PVP allowed there.
Keep your starter ship. Use it to do low level quests in x-1 maps and generate enough credits to get your skylab going. If you must go in x-2 maps to mine, grab a cloak.
Skylab is key: you need to be making Prometid/Duranium and eventually Promerium to make credits. Transfer what you make in the skylab to your ship, sell it at the space station. Get a bigger ship and the cargo expander so you can transfer more to your ship.
Keep saving up for elite gear, and dont get too involved anywhere else unless you know you can run away (I recommend the mod that will make your ship go 10x as fast).
If you die, just buy your ship with credits, dont use Uridium.

I tried this game for an hour.
Utter poop. Would not play again. Once I figured out how to play I figured out that the only way to be competitively viable is to spend real money. So f*** that s***, people don't go on Kongregate to pay money for stuff. Boring stuff, no less. Also if you die you lose nearly everything which is always fun.

I didnt like this game. And I dont like that Kongregate keeps posting it as a new hot game. Any game that asks for payment to give players an unfair advantage in PvP is sh-te. Your a flash game website, not EA games. Remember the crowd your marketing at idiots.
