If you were to draw this as a diagram on a piece of paper, count the intersections of all the lines, and then count how many had odd intersections the number should amount to four, which because it is higher than two (the maximum number of odd intersections) the puzzle is therefore impossible to complete. Honestly don't bother trying, its pointless.

good game, but not very original. the original puzzle is the seven bridges of koningsburg, and was created around a german town. this is just a badly drawn flash interpretation. 3/5

7621345 should do it. Since you describe it as a river there must be a source somewhere offscreen, so you can walk around from one bank to the other. And you didn't say where to start, so starting on one of the islands is presumably acceptable.
