Heck of a game, there is a learning curve when the instructions aren't so clear and you're just dropped off and expected to know how to play. Once I got the concept it was really cool, quite technical and fun. Well done!

For the last mission: 1) Early game: speed to slow, send everything to Gate. 2) take the Yellow Station. 3) guard that Gate like it's your last hope, and MAYBE 1 planet closest to each station, for now, if easy. At this point yellow is likely toast. Send ~200 to either Red or Orange Station, whomever is WEAKEST overall. 5) with 3 Stations, take the other Gate, then 4th Station. 6) Pause often, play defensive, keeping 4 Stations and both Gates. 7) Once black only has 1 big swarm left, and you have 350 in the Gates, attack the core!! And enjoy the halos.. ;D

This game is epic, I love the music! The levels and music combined for me gave a sense of the desperate struggle to survive. Even though the other colors continue to fight amongst each other with this looming threat the easiest way to defeat black is by having the black fight you and at least one other color from multiple fronts unfortunately the other colors will attack you and most of the battles by the time you overcome the black the other colors were wiped out. After beating the last level what seems to be the place of blacks origin now fortified immensely gives you sense of relief that the threat is now over but also a sense of loneliness as you are the only color left as the rest have become casualties of war. Had the colors not fought they wouldn't have unleashed this threat in the first place and maybe the black represents war itself threatening to consume everything and everyone if they can't resolve their differences peacefully.

I may just have played too much warhammer 40k but to me the ending kinda seems: "and thus, humanity finished the extermination wars and silenced all other sapient live forever"

@makariospollos ya lvl 24 thats a tough stage, very little opportunity to win on hard, but 3 to 10 tries and you win all has to do with how it starts.. love this game though beat it prob 50 times on hard over the years

Guess that 20 red ship on middle had real nice time witnessing they lost all planets and they cannot do anything to it. Apparently, these blue guys cannot use warps too.

It's easy to beat the hard version of any one-on-one level - for your first move, just go after the same planet as the AI goes for. The AI will retreat, allowing you to conquer your first planet before it can conquer one.

The last level is honestly quite simple. Claim all of the planets and such on a single side. Send all units to the teleporter when you get maxed out. Teleport to middle. Rinse and repeat. Beat level 10 times.

The last level is actually very easy to beat. The way ive done it is ignore the gate and go straight for the Yellow station. Wait till they leave the gate and then take it for your self. The planets themselves are not very useful as they will quickly become attacked(except the one closest to your starting station) so use the gate to take the other two stations. Once you have all 4 stations, take the other gate and rally all your ships to the gates. You should more than 400 ships ready and that can easily take the center.

Excellent game. Simple gameplay, beautiful graphics, just challenging enough. Here is how I won the last level on hard: Rush everything at the nearest gate. Take Yellow's station. Systematically take over all planets on your half. Send everything via teleport gate, fight black's weak planets first to grow asap, then yellow when black is distracted. DO NOT try to "save" a planet that black is charging with large groups. Take it back later. Once you have around 300 pop, gate all of it to the centre and keep reinforcing. Win.

This is one of my favorite browser/mobile games of all time. The smooth and beautifully colored graphics as well as the aesthetic style add to the gameplay and push this game well past what is commonly found online. Pretty much the only thing that's bad about this game is the lack of large numbers of levels. I don't know how hard it is to create new levels, but a level editor for the mobile version (or online version) would be awesome; if a level editor is too hard to make then simply additional levels would make this game all the better. Still, (as previously mentioned) this game is skillfully crafted and one of my favorite games (not just out of browser games) of all time. Kudos to John Camara for the music by the way. Excellent job, really adds to the atmosphere.
P.S. To those of you who think the last level is impossible: it is very hard, but it IS possible. I can reliably beat it on hard about half the time. You really need to use strategy though.

If anyone would continue this series, what would we even want as features? I love the simplicity, of this, maybe more levels would be all we need!

Stop whining guys please. This game is meant to be hard. And it is 100% fair in most levels. Planet production is related only to its size, game doesn't care who controls the planet, lol. All ships have same speed. Bigger amount of ships always wins on a planet (mind you that planets produce units as long as there is at least 1 ally unit still there, so it may fell unbalanced at first). The higher difference between number of ships, the faster the weaker side dies (I believe it's some sort of exponential function, as it gets really fast with 4x more ships for example). The only difficulty here is AI, which is ingenious. It utilises every game aspect almost perfectly (and blacks might be even perfect). The alghorithms controlling AI are truly marvellous and kudos to creator for such a masterpiece :)
